Lovely spot on the river... spots 6,7, and 8 are only suitable for tents, and there is not an adjacent car park, so you must carry your things 50 meters or so

Beautiful, quiet and shady camp area in the forest. Perfect to go for platypus sighting. Toilet and water tap on the area. No shower. Designed spots for campfires.

Absolutely awesome. So many rare animals and plants. Just cross your fingers you don't get a loud bogan family camping next to you. I recommend camping here on a week day to avoid them.

8 marked spots - yet the booking site wants you to pick without a map?Otherwise lovely surrounds, and I’d recommend 8 to be furthest from everyone. Each spot has its own fire ring (BYO timber). No generators or campervans, nestled amongst the rainforest, with a bubbling creek heard nearby. Lovely surroundings.There was some kind of water pump that turned on at approx 9:30am.

Nice and clean and puts you in middle of nature also the elder at the gift shop is very helpful and very respectful of the visitors

Fern Flat Camping Area
We stayed on Site 1 and it was very spacious and flat for our van. Trying to get any form of trailer into site 1 and 2 might be challenging and even tight on space, but possible. And I think these two sites are first in best dressed. Clean toilets and trails along the river that are easily accessible.Check out more at:@ultimateaussiebucketlist (insta, FB, web)

Fern Flat Camping Area
About 6 slots for camping. Not suitable for trailers, as the slots are small and basically just for parking the vehicle while camping in a tent.Clean toilet available. Short walk to the kiosk/ Visitor information at the bridge.Best times for seeing the Platypuses are 4-8am and 3-7pm.I‘ve seen five Platypuses at 7-8am, but none in the evening...
