Lovestone Cottages Montville - Romantic Rainforest Retreat

We had a 3 night stay in the Maple Cottage. It was one of the most special stays that my husband and I have ever been on. The view was spectacular. The room was so cozy and you can tell so much thought and effort has been put into the design and atmosphere of the room. Tamara and Jonathon were so welcoming and you can tell they are so passionate about what they do. The inclusions were some of the best we have come across and again you can tell that lots of love and careful thought has been put into each of these items, which includes breakfast - Bacon, sausage, eggs, yoghurt, Granola, fresh cherry tomato's and sourdough. Bottle of bubbles, chocolate, biscuits, it truly was luxurious. We ordered one of the BBQ hampers as well and this was certainly one of the best meals I have ever had, paired with the view it was a far better experience then dining out somewhere. Most items came prepared, just had to cook our steak to our liking. Items were fresh and again carefully thought out and lovingly prepared. We will definitely be back! Thank you Tamara and Jonathon!

There are so many good things about Lovestone Cottages, I couldn't possibly name them all, so you'll just have to try it out yourself!- The Hosts Tam & Jon lovely couple, super welcoming and helpful- The bed was super comfy and lots of pillows- The Little touches made it feel really special- The BBQ Pack - Locally sourced food was really tasty and big servings- The view was amazing right from the comfort of your own bedOverall it is a wonderful place to stay. My partner and I had the RnR that we so needed and will be back again without a doubt.Thanks Tam & Jon

Could not speak high enough of our long weekend away here, the attention to detail to all the little things make it worth every single cent, not once did we long for anything. They provide everything you could possibly need and if there is anything you require they attend to it immediately. Quiet and cosy luxurious rooms with all the necessary amenities to switch off for a few days and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Close to all great visiting spots as well. Don't think twice, just book this place! You won't regret it!

My boyfriend surprised me with two nights away for my birthday and I could not have asked for a more beautiful escape. Tamara and Jon made sure our room was fully stocked with delicious treats and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay and assisted with any other requests we had during our time with warmness and friendliness making sure that we always felt like special guests. The location of Lovestone Cottages is perfect for a getaway with an indoor fireplace, spa bath overlooking bushland and an outdoor firepit - all of which make the perfect recipe for a relaxing and rejuvenating vacation. Lovestone Cottages provided us with everything we could want and more for a romantic weekend away and I cannot wait for the next time we can spend another trip away there.

Took my partner up there for a weekend away and they exceeded all my expectations. We stayed in the maple cottage over looking the lake and it was absolutely stunning.On top of the room being amazing, the service from John and Tamara was exceptional, they made sure our stay was perfect making sure we had everything we needed.Lovestone Cottages is the place to go if you want to spend a nice relaxing weekend in a beautiful place with your partner.

We spent 2 nights in the Maple cottage. Absolutely Devine! We were hosted by the most beautiful, welcoming couple who have thought of everything for a blissful relaxing stay. Attention to detail to every detail from the privacy of the cottages to the food ( local & delicious) Home made treats with gorgeous unforgettable touches. Hand delivered to your door. We can not recommend Lovestone Cottages highly enough! Tamara & Jonathan go above and beyond, with every possible thing you could ever need provided. Maple Cottage is immaculate, well appointed and so luxurious. The bed is like a cloud and the bath looking out at the spectacular view is to die for. The breakfast and dinner hampers are beyond delicious and sourced from fresh, local produce.We stayed here after our wedding last year and have just returned for our first anniversary. We look forward to many more trips to this beautiful location with the kindest hosts.Thank you for everything Tamara & Jonathan, you guys are something else!!

Love stone cottages a private location surrounded by rainforest and beautiful gardens. Our cottage was heavenly. Modern, clean and thoughtfully designed. The bathroom is spacious with 2 basins , double showers and plenty of bench space. As well there is a free standing spa bath in the bedroom with a glass window to gaze out of the tranquil view.The king size bed was very comfortable. In winter there is a pot belly fire. The kitchen is smartly designed and well stocked including lots of treats. Drinks on the verandah at sunset is lovely. An added bonus if you don’t want to venture out to eat you can have a fabulous meal brought to your cottage prepared by your hosts using local produce.We have stayed in a number of cottages in this area and think this is a one of the very best . Beautiful cottages and delicious cook-your-own breakfast. Loved the bath overlooking the gardens. It was a perfect romantic getaway.
