I ordered the soup, I should not have ordered the soup. The chunks of carrot seemed to stare at me, the dim orange rings piercing my very soul, invading my mind. I raise the spoon to my lips and feel the soft touch of said carrot and let it surround my tongue, the grotesque stench fills my nose from the inside. My tongue contorts however I know that I can not release this vile substance upon the floor on which I stand, this soup was part of me now, I squint from the pain. My visage temporarily ruined by this horrid soup no, sludge. I continued to consume it, bite by bite I become more and more sad. Then as the final spoonful travelled the beaten path of my oesophagus I felt the calming respite of a day yet made, I smirk knowing that this soup will plague me no more...until I headed to the bathroom and clogged the toilet so hard that the carpet outside the toilets was moist. 0/10 would not soup again.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS-SCSA's soup policy has changed, soup force feeding programs are now in place. Avoid at all costs, do not ingest the soup

I naively approached this establishment with hope. Hope for the future, for growth, and hope to make good soup. Yet my experience was one of tragedy. As I entered the establishment, I was first directed toward my station, which, among the other stations, was set out like juvenile detention. I was allocated and referred to by an eight-digit number as if I were a boy in striped pyjamas awaiting my inevitable doom.I realised immediately that all my preparations which had been built upon other people's previous experiences and reviews were completely subverted when they changed their ingredients list, despite there being no apparent improvement to the resultant taste or experience. The service at the help desk was appalling. when I reached out to inquire about my concerns, I was dismissed. I was told I wasn’t memorising the ingredients well enough; despite the obvious lack of time I was given to do so.The DIY soup station hid a horrific deception. After an incredible effort to achieve a passable quality of soup, it was scaled down tremendously. As one might infer, what remained of the blood, sweat, and tears that made up my soup was a lukewarm, unsalted slush. Unfit for human consumption.I now look toward my future with despair; for my comparative soup score, my ATAR, has stunted any chance I may have had to pursue any semblance of a dream. The 14 years of my life in preparation for this have been nothing but a cruel joke.Like the majority of aspiring ATAR soup chef participants, I am now condemned to a life in the slums, throwing any income on therapy to hopefully one day recover from the trauma I have incurred. For any who are considering this establishment, I caution you. There is no good that will come of it, there is no compassion awaiting you. You will NOT leave unscathed...

As a server at a busy restaurant, I had served countless bowls of soup without incident. But one night, a customer ordered our tomato soup, and what happened next was a complete nightmare. As I brought the soup to the table, I noticed that it looked a bit thin and watery. I tried to brush off the thought, thinking that perhaps it had just been stirred too vigorously or that the chef had used a different recipe. But when the customer took a spoonful and made a face, I knew that something was terribly wrong.I apologised profusely and asked if there was anything else I could get them instead, but they declined and insisted on trying to eat the soup. With each spoonful, their face contorted in disgust, and I felt increasingly embarrassed and helpless. Other customers started to notice the commotion, and I could feel their eyes on me as I struggled to handle the situation. To make matters worse, the customer eventually started coughing and choking on the soup, and I had to rush to their aid, offering water and napkins and calling for my manager. The rest of the meal was a disaster, with the customer barely eating anything and requesting the check as soon as possible.

Soup was so raw, I could still hear it mooing. When the waiter asked, How was your soup?" I replied

The soup had consistency that reminded me of thick mud, absolutely awful - I might as well have swallowed a live turkey. The service was appalling and, like the soup, left a sour taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, I cannot give a negative review, so I will have to settle with a mingy 1-star.

I've been hearing everyone's experience with the soup here and I didn't think it'd be THIS bad, I didn't even get actual soup; they just gave me an empty SOUP CAN. This is just unacceptable. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Absolutely horrible, extremely disappointed with what I received. The soup lacked flavour, watery, and there was even a fly in there????Furthermore, the portion size was incredibly small for the price, and I felt like I was not getting my money's worth. I was expecting a hearty and filling soup, but instead, I was left with a serving that barely filled me up.I was disappointed with the quality of the soup and the value for the price.

WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF POSSIBLE.They appear to change their soup menu and rules of the restaurant every year or so. Whilst the soup is moderate at best, dining in here is absolutely appalling. I come into the restaurant with expectations to sit at the table and eat my tomato soup, because that’s how it’s been for years, then I’m told “our restaurant curriculum has been updated” and now I’m expected to sit on the floor and eat pumpkin soup (WHICH I HATE!!!)

This soup kitchen is just awful, been here 2 times both was really appalling. The menu changed and had nothing better than the last time. I went over a year ago and they had this good plum pudding, they removed it recently though. THAT WAS THE ONLY GOOD THING!!Photo of plum pudding below
