Royale Cabinets

Had a terrible experience using Royale Cabinets. Absolutely no pride in workmanship from the installers, leaving dirty handprints, bumps and scratches to paintwork and damage that cost us nearly $1000 to fix. On their second visit they had issues installing our shelving which resulted in big bubbles appearing in the plaster in at least a dozen places, which they didn't even bother to bring to our attention. This damage may or may not have been avoided but we would have expected to at least have a discussion about it before continuing on with the job. The response from the owner was also very disappointing with us having to chase her for rectification where I would have expected her to want to personally inspect the damage when we first complained of it. We did come to an agreement for damages in the end only to find more problems which were not first apparent and have affected the overall final product and left us very disappointed.

Royale Cabinets did a great job on my refurbishment in West End, Brisbane. The American Walnut came up a treat, everyone who visits comments as to how good they look. The custom booth Royale made for me has also worked well and looks fantastic. The company was also able to construct a laundry hutch from the bathroom into the laundry which has proven to be super efficient. I have just sold my apartment in what is a difficult market for a significant profit and I attribute s significant portion of this increase in value to the quality joinery constructed and installed by Royale Cabinets. I highly recommend.

So just had the laminate bench top from the company. The first time they tried to put it in one bench was completely scratched. The second time it didn't even fit as they did not measure properly. After 1 1/2 later the bench was placed in however there was a chip on the new bench top that they only filled in with a putty. They had to cut a piece as again they got the measurement wrong this piece is raised so will cause issues in the future. They did not silicon everything so they had to come back again after I took photos to prove they didn't there were gaps everywhere in the bench.Apparently our kitchen was harder cause it was not square however the pure lack of communication is beyond fathomable for a business I had to call yesterday for an jnvoice that still had not been sent and the invoice is not what was quoted or advised. I have been told that I have today to pay it! Highly frustrated with the owner as she did the measure and was to be our point of contact.Should have gone with my gut and cancelled the install from the second mistake and lack of calls. We had to call every time as we were told incorrect times which made us late for other commitments.I am so glad we did not get the cabinets from them if this is the kind of work they endorse.Would not recommend to anyone.
