From the moment you walk into, the pastry board it's bright, clean, well organised, you can see whats on offer easily , and read the tabs well.I am not going to lie, I have eaten the pies, danishes, biscuits and on many occasions the absolutely delicious cakes. The quality is the best in the area. To top it off, Pete makes the best dam coffee. My husband won't go anywhere else.They do custom cakes as well, and my husband loved his cake. It reminded him, of his childhood birthdays, and put the biggest smile on his face.Thank you pastry board!

Rarely do I have 10 out of 10 people at a friend's place say they love the lemon tart...usually it goes like this...it's too sour, it's too sweet, not tart enough, good filling but base was not great, good base pity obout the filling...but not this time everyone loved it 10/10 perfect.Please do not ever change recipe or I will have to start my hunt for the best lemon tart near home all over again!

Family-sized vegetable quiche was lovely ($25) and the hedgehog slice was moist and delicious, as was the small raspberry cheesecake. The vanilla slice pastry however was overdone and the custard tart was disappointing - all 5x of us decided that the custard tart from a different bakery closer to home (in Kilsyth) was easily superior in both texture and taste

What a wonderful local bakery! City style desserts in a suburban area, some of best coffee I've had, and the chocolate eclair is just Devine. Would love to try the chunky beef pies next time. Highly recommend.
