Never again.My car was collected in NZ on March 10 and was delivered to me on August 6. Almost 5 months and their original indication was 5 -6 weeks. The basic problem was they provided no meaningful advice on how to manage or expedite the shipping, their business approach is to sign you up and then charge every possible fee along the way, including some egregious fx rates which they had to reverse.When I tried to work out what was happening they alternatively told me it was my fault as I hadn't read their emails carefully enough or that the delivery end was a fiasco" they had no way to know about.Even when the car was finally available and I was trying to pick up directly from the port

I recently imported a boat from Finland, something that I'd never previously contemplated let alone done. Not knowing anything about international freight forwarding, I searched the websites of many Australia companies and one in the U.K. before settling on Taurus Logistics as the best option. They're a local company (Australia/NZ) with a good vibe to their website which allayed some of my concerns. Richard and his staff were good communicators throughout the entire process and proved to be across all aspects of their brief, a testament to their experience as international freight forwarders/managers. They did, indeed, 'take care of everything'. I would recommend Taurus to others interested in importing boats to Australia without reservation.

Karen and Troy listened to my specific requirements shipping a vintage motorcycle from UK to Australia. They were patient with the many commercial and logistics questions I had beyond the website FAQs - not having used an International Shipping Importer before. My comment on Taurus logistics imports,, would never use them again and would suggest to others to use crown removers ..reason why is because Taurus logistics had given me a quote and was double by the time it was landed and have all documents to prove it ,, unsatisfactory!! Told me in the end I couldn’t roll on and off with my motorcycle and needed a crate .they quoted $1200 first then I asked if I could use a Harley crate from local dealer ,, there answer was very slow if I was allowed so I left the bike in there hands as I had to fly to Australia. They ended up getting a crate from the local Harley dealer which I had been quoted $60 and they charged me $600. When I received the bike there was more km put on the bike and had been ridden and I asked why more km on my bike and they don’t care of give a reason . The bike had been dropped and scratches and dents on my bike .would never ever use them again . Service and communication was terrible!!

Taurus helped move our car from NZ to AU. Initially we had some hiccups but eventually resolved.

Recently transported my motorbike from Sydney to Auckland, and somehow they lost my Key and the Harley FOB after it reached New Zealand. Spent a whole month looking for answers while the bike sat in a private storage, unable to move.I had to spend around $750 to get everything sorted out, and Taurus refused to reimburse this amount, saying that I don't have a marine insurance, which is ridiculous since they are not sure who in the process lost it. Totally unhappy with the whole experience waiting around 2-3 months with no clear solution and responsibility.

From start to finish the team at Taurus were very helpful in shipping my car from NZ to Australia. Communication was spot on , and overall the experience was great. I would highly recommend anyone that is looking to ship their vehicle to get in touch with the team at Taurus. Thanks again

I utilised Taurus Logistics to import a small but heavy piece of machinery in a Less than Container Load scenario. The price was very reasonable, and the timing estimates were spot on. I was kept informed along the way even of all progress and any inquiries I had were answered within hour. Karen also organised the customs clearance which was a breeze and to top things off, she ensured the crate was delivered to my doorstep (not an easy feat in the area I live in) with zero hassles. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking to ship from the UK to Australia.

Never again would I use this CompanyMy car was dropped off to them in Wellington on the 12th December, 2022. They advised me that it would take between 4 to 6 weeks for my vehicle to arrive. 6 months later I collected my vehicle today 15th June, 2023. They tried to charge me an extra $700 for storage which I had removed of the invoice after I refused to pay this, due to there poor management of my vehicle, caused it to stay parked in there storage facility outdoors for a great part of this time. My vehicle had never been left outside and has always been garaged. Then today they charged me an extra $960 to have my vehicle cleaned!! and moved from the Port to the cleaning facility, when I collected my vehicle it did not even look clean and there were marks on the paint work and scratches on my vehicle. Leading up to collecting my vehicle they asked me to pay the invoice in full as the vehicle was going to be ready to collect. My next communication with them they advised me that my car had been off loaded in Japan as the port in Melbourne was too busy for the ship to stop to drop my vehicle off. Their communication throughout the whole process was poor and their attitude was it is out of our control". They refused to take responsibility and just kept blaming the Melbourne Port.I would never use this Company and would not recommend them please be aware as the costs ended up being double from my original quote."
