Inexcusably terrible customer service. The responsiveness was great at the start from the sales team to win my business, but dealing with any other area has been appalling.I have already lodged a written complaint early on when I wasn’t receiving any support. I submitted another formal complaint at the end of my term with SG Fleet and never even received a response or a resolution to all of the outstanding questions I had.I also received no information about ending my contract and how to maintain payments after they closed my account, or how I would get my credit paid back to me. Really poor service.

Never have I ever experienced such a degree of incompetence. Terrible communication and lack of attention to detail. Forgetting to process the paperwork despite telling me it’s been done so I’m literally at the dealership to pick up my car and being told SG Fleet hasn’t yet cleared the finance. Sadly I have no choice but to proceed with these idiots as they are affiliated with my partners employer.

Their calculator to find out “how much you will save” is wrong. It only calculates if you were to get a personal/car loan. If you can buy the car outright, it works out much cheaper, so for most people that don’t need a loan, don’t use a fleet service. I wanted to break it, but now I have to pay the WHOLE thing back (all the interest over the lease period even though I’m breaking it). What’s more… when applying for a mortgage banks don’t consider the vehicle an asset, as it’s not yours. So you have to reduce your income (to what you’re getting after the lease) and you can’t then add the vehicle as collateral. Soooo… in final, they get one star for the calculator not giving an option of buying outright and that even an accountant can’t give you WVERY scenario. So, hope this helps anyone considering a lease when they can own the car.

I gave SG Fleet plenty of notice that my invoice for a new car needed to be paid. Constant phone calls and emails with very little response or call-backs. I even emailed the CEO. SG Fleet wanted me to re-apply for finance when the invoice for the car was out by $0.01 for the GST component (a rounding up issue). I finally gave up after my invoice was overdue by a week and went with another company that managed to complete it all within 24 hours. Never again will I go to SG Fleet or ever recommend them.

Never fall for this trap if you are an employee with a normal car loan… leasing is a product which should only be meant for those owning a business and vehicles under that business or for car enthusiasts who would like to churn their car every 2/3 years for a new one and never really care about their personal debts. Read those agreement and section regarding balloon payment carefully before signing those dotted lines. Never go by what the salesperson tells you as they have targets and they may even provide misinformation. If you own a car and want to clear the loan on it do not fall for salary sacrifice trap as the benefits don’t worth the cost you pay.

SG Fleet just hung up on after 45 minutes of intermittent holding.I signed my lease with NLC, and received a letter last year telling me I was being moved to SG fleet.Since moving to SG Fleet ive noticed:Their web portal is horrendous.Trying to access any help is impossible.Their customer service is disgusting.

Completely hopeless. Have leased 2 cars with the same result, paper work not finished then rushed at the last moment leading to delayed delivery of car. Can't arrange a payout letter so have been left with out payment from car for 2 weeks. Will never use again. Communication is poor, emails take ages to be answered and difficult getting a response through the generic phone number.

DO NOT USE SG FLEET - THEY ARE UNRESPONSIVE AND UNRELIABLE.For some reason, SG Fleet took over from NLC. NLC were AMAZING, SG Fleet is the complete opposite. It is way too difficult to get answers from anyone, they don't respond to emails and when you send through a request for documentation that will take 5 business days" you get something completely different that what you clearly asked for

Probably one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had trying to take out a new lease. SG consistently drop your calls, send you in circles, don’t bother to email back and appear to be completely disorganised. My new car has been waiting at the dealership for months while SG try to navigate their own systems and paperwork, some of which they didn’t send out until prompted. This company will happily service your initial enquiries but once you’ve signed on the line, kiss that customer service goodbye

This is the absolute worst company to get a vehicle under. From the ridiculous delays in initially arranging to get my vehicle to the ridiculous delays waiting for a password to be reset I would never, ever recommend this company to anyone. Do yourself a favour and find another company to do your novated lease.
