Ravenswood CourtHouse Museum
A very well maintained set of buildings, which were originally used as a schoolhouse. Plenty of memorabilia to see, both from the local area as well as the general vintage of when Ravenswood was a mining town. Out back, there's a large collection of old machinery, steam engines, and other work tools, but you may need to ask the staff to open the building, as they don't seem to open it without anyone showing interest. Lots of good books and photographs from the old days, including school class and sports photos, and lots of mining information. Overall, very well maintained, lots of interesting things to see - a nice place to visit.

Yvonne is the most amazing archivist. She found information on the Andrew family when all I could give her was the surname. Thanks Yvonne.
