My Subaru Outback decided not to start during the Christmas and New years break, Rapid Tune was open and reviews here seem okay.After checking the car they diagnosed that the Fuel pump was dead, they proceed to replace it, the cost for this work was $600, picked up the car, it was all good.Three days later same thing again, the car decided not to start, I called them they said “we need to check if the work we did is the problem or something else, you need to get the car here”I argue the problem was the exactly the same. But no sense of responsibility or help whatsoever, no “sorry for that we will help out and organise the tow”. So, I organised the tow to drop the car there again.After a couple of days I hear back and now the cables leading to the Fuel pump assembly are shorted so recommend to replace the entire piece, quote for $1300. Now I am wondering what did they inspect the first time. This quote by the way included the just replaced fuel pump, which was not specified I did the research and found that out.After some coordination what they finally did was replace a few things on the assembly that were shorted and the car was up and running again. This work now was for $1007. The recently replaced fuel pump was kept in there because it was still working but other parts got replaced.Picked up the car, three days later my wife and newborn child are left on the side of the road with again a similar issue, this time she run out of petrol because the petrol tank has a leak a bloody leak!!Called them again asking for help, you could guess the answer by now “you need to get the car here we would inspect and check if what we did was the problem” Seriously?I am not coming back so they can keep killing my car, now I am $1607 short and with another problem.I uploaded a few photos of the “quality” of the work, the mess is very evident, stains on the leather seat, the entire work area a mess, seriously a mess.

Most customers simply want only value, honesty and timely servicing. Trevor and his team of mechanics deliver that in abundance, with a smile and a laugh. Being a mechanical engineer myself, i can see through any service centers deficiencies so all i can say is i keep coming back to Trevor at Rapid Tune for more servicing of my cars and he keeps exceeding my expectations. I brought my car in for a tyre change about a month ago. The guys saw that my car was due for a service, checked my car inside and out and said the service would be $300. I booked my car in for the service the following week, they charged me $530. I’d understand if it was an over the phone quote, but they physically saw my car and said $300. The tyre they fixed the week before seemed to be flat again on the morning of my service and I was charged again for the same tyre. I emailed them with this concern weeks ago and I received no reply.

I rang this afternoon and I spoke to a male his name was Travis. Today is a warm day and I had a panel beating query over the phone. I was very impressed with his help and supporting help. He had willingness to help and mannerism great+ customer service great!!! Thank you .I went to get my vehicle repaired and I personally met Travis and he was very polite and helpfull. I was happy with his attitude and customer service. He makes you feel as a valued customer. He has a friendly personality. Describes what he is doing to your car and is knowledgeable. The man waiting in the waiting room also made positive remarks about staff at Moorabbin Rapid tune. Keep it up everone.

Travis is very welcoming, respectful of women, kept me updated. I had nearly bald tyres and he wasn't judgemental at all (which I've definitely experienced at other places). Prices were reasonable and he discussed options with me that suited my budget and my needs. I highly recommend this business and will definitely be going back. (I had a flat repaired, 2 new tyres, oil change and oil filter).

Took my Mazda here for the last 5 years, since my manufacturer warranty ended, and there have been no unexpected surprises. Rapid Tune have done a great job keeping it running in top condition and doing very cost yearly effective services.On last years service, I had some annoying squeaky wiper blades and they replaced them free of charge under warranty on the next visit. They are able to help maintain my car with other non-service issues, like replacing and aligning tyres and keeping the rear seat fold-down mechanism working.On most occasions, they can provide a complementary courtesy car.

Absolutely fantastic service from the people down at Rapid Tune. Travis was so accommodating in explaining what needed to be done in order for my roadworthy to past, great for a chat and even better with his service. I was fearful they weren’t going to be able to pass it, but they pulled through! Thanks guys

Exceptional service from Travis and team. First they diagnosed my car to check for a burning smell. Then eventually managed to identify I was using incorrect petrol, and provided steps for me to rectify the problem. Don't waste your time or money going anywhere else, go to Rapid Tune.
