Free to visit. Walk across the bridge at the Rotary Park, and enter a spot back in time.

Well worth the visit. Absolutly gorgeous volunteer ladys. We paid five dollars to look around the old school house and museum there . It was fascinating. The lovely ladies where very welcoming and friendly and it is such a beautiful area .

Margaret River Old Settlement
Very disappointing that the opening times on the website and on the door then the ones sign posted are all different and we stuck around for all of the times and still no one turned up to open up for us to have a tour. I understand it's on a volunteer basis but how are people to come and have a look at the history and donate to the accrual of more historical items when it doesn't open for tourists in high tourism seasons

Margaret River Old Settlement
This was one of the best discovery during our trip down in Margaret River. Entry is supposed to be free as per website with donations appreciated but we were told the entry fee per person instead of free will donations. Lots of precious well preserved and maintained items from the olden days, definitely worth a visit especially if you have children. Staff were lovely and very helpful in explaining and talking us through the history.

Beautifully preserved homestead with walking trails along the river. Well worth a visit to this hidden gem.

Great little hidden gem. Very interesting for all ages.We took the kids around the displays to show them some of Margaret rivers history.Staff / Volunteers were so friendly and engaging.For a donation it’s well worth the visit.
