It's very interesting to see the two rivers intercept and the surrounding area is well looked after, however you only get a good view of the rivers' from one side of the trail.

Moorabool and Barwon Rivers junction
This is where the Barwon meets the Mooralbool. Gorgeous place to be enjoy by the water. Kayak, canoe or SUP board, it's your choice. The best thing is the rowers to come this far up the river! Yey! so, none of those noisy motor boats with their loudspeakers disturbing the peace, only the cockatoos! Haha.

Moorabool and Barwon Rivers junction
A truly lovely ramble through many and varied habits. Have been walking and cycling these trails along the Barwon and Moorabool for the better part of 20 years and the sights (and snakes...) never fail to impress me. Interesting sights off the well-trodden path, but beware of being ambushed by snakes that are so well camouflaged in their environment that people don't see them until they are literally about to step on them!
