I was there having lunch with a friend in the Bistro and we both noticed that the menu has been changed. I ordered from Oriental Menu, and thought that the Honey Soy Stir Fry Chicken would taste good, but I was very disappointed with the presentation.Plus the chicken had varying degrees of thickness of its slices it was over-cooked, thick and dry, too Chunky.I know I can cook a better Asian/Thai stir fry at home better than that ! Are the cooks there Chinese or Asian/Thai or just Australian cooks?A Chinese or Asian stir fry of Chicken should be sliced across the grain raw and marinated first before it is stir fried in the wok. The chicken should be moist and tender. Their Honey Soy Sauce didn't exist? I had to go back to the condiments counter to get more Soy Sauce, and a substitute of Sweet Chilli sauce to compensate for the lack of any sauce in my dry meal. And if I was serving rice with an Asian stir fry, I'd be serving Jasmine rice, freshly steamed to perfection. Not poor cooked rice packed dry, in the shape of a cup placed on the side of my plate.It wasn't very Oriental, more like Australian 1970s influenced Chinese food as it used to be back then. Not like the modern flavours and thicker sauces.So for $19.50, I felt I'd really wasted my money choosing that meal from the 'new menu''? I'm having second thoughts about choosing to go back there next month?My friend ordered the prawn cutlets
