Meat At Billy's - Ashgrove

Fantastic range, sausages in particular. However it's out of our price range with weekly items such as bacon and chicken at double the price minimum when compared with other (non gourmet shall we say) butchers with no substantial taste difference, making the price hard to justify for us. We have also noticed the prices creeping up since they've grown in popularity over the last few years, so we can only afford to treat ourselves when a sausage of our liking is being made that week.Their service, culture and prices reflect the demographic of the areas of their two shops, it's smart business and proving extremely profitable, well done. For the rest of us, go and spoil yourself with something different when you have a little extra money to spare, you're sure to find a smile within the sausage range. Thank you for the choice.

Ordered online the lamb, beef and chicken skewers for pick up from Stafford location. They were perfect! Went down a treat at our Easter bbq! 1st time we tried Billys and won't be the last. 5 star rating highly recommend them.

My favourite weekly ritual - the freshest and tastiest products combined with the friendliest customer service - thanks Peter! Love seeing what sausage flavours (current faves French Toulouse, cheeseburger, butter chicken, lamb & gravy) and other creations the butchers have come up with. So much to look at with the retail shelves packed with local complimentary condiments and pantry essentials. Hard working family run business that are so deserving of all their accolades. I own a small bakery and am so proud to be able to use their meat products in our savoury items.

These guys are next level. The best hands down!! Their products are amazing, they’re nothing but cheerful, helpful and friendly. They still offer a cheerio to my little boy if we shop in store, but these days we just order online unless I’m in the area! It comes packaged well, and Pat deserves a medal for just being the most awesome delivery driver ever!! I look forward to our deliveries - awesome meals coming up and a friendly face!!You would never be disappointed with Meat at Billy’s.

Amazing products all year round. Fast and friendly service that is always very helpful and welcoming. Probably the best butcher I have been to. Their EFTPos machine took 5 minutes to work once and they gave me 500 grams of free chicken nibbles for the trouble, goes to show how kind the staff are.

Excellent quality meats delivered on time on Christmas Eve and packed with care.

First time here got double charged on a purchase of 1.8kg of beef with the butcher charging me for 3.6kg. At $60/kg this works out to be a bit of money. I suspect the butcher knew he made a mistake, whether deliberate or not, as he was very hesitant when I asked for a receipt. I eventually got a refund with no explanation for the error and it was passed off as no issue.If you shop here I would recommend to check your receipts thoroughly and potentially bring your own scales. The rib cut was tasty.

It’s a very ‘tender’ kind of love that comes from a child wanting to cook your favorite dish. ‘Beef Wellington’ though, is not always easy to find, the search over months had come up empty but it was important to her, that determination & continued search is how she ‘met you’. ‘Meat at Billy’s’ saw us spoiled for choice and a special wish came true. Thankyou, we have added you to our favorites.

Very disappointed with our Christmas ham, I collected on December 24th, and Christmas day 1/3rd of it was very dry, and the 27th was a strong odour coming from it.
