Jake is amazing with all the dogs. From puppies to oldies he’s like the dog whispererHis side kick Sasha ( a rescue) is also great at putting all the doggies in their place. He has taught me and my crazy JRT Bailey so many different ways to learn and all of them made fun so they don’t feel like learning and Bailey loves every minute. If you are having trouble with controlling your dog on walks, he/she is pulling on the leash, or if you’re a new puppy parent or have just rescued a dog and need some help with socialising Jake is the man to see. We came to Power Pooches to help teach us how to train to our puppy with the best set of commands and a good routine early on in her life. After an introduction call we could clearly see the passion Jake has for all dogs and parents, and he showed this throughout every lesson we had with him.During our 8 lesson program, Jake made sure we got the basics down quickly in the first few sessions, giving us the time to customise the remaining to suit our needs.We wanted to make sure we worked on socialising behaviour, including interacting with other dogs, children and adults. Jake’s puppy play dates at his school in Berwick and Pakenham cover this perfectly, letting our dog play and also giving her time away from us.During the program we were also taught fun games to play, keeping her brain active and tapping into her natural instincts, but most importantly stopping her from getting bored.Jake also has a great selection of good quality products, toys and supplies available, making shopping local easy and affordable.

We contacted Jake to help us train Dexter. Dexter is a rescue and was an anxious puppy when he came home with us. Jake was amazing with Dexter and has helped us work on his anxiety and behaviour. His caring & passionate approach is 2nd to noneWe were having some problems with our rescue bull arab & was honestly worried it may not work out with him, in less than a month Jake had taught us how to keep him calm & how to react when he misbehaves.Now we have much happier & confident dogs & we have power pooches to thank for that
