I have nothing but great things to say about the hotel. Staff are courteous and rooms are great. Location is very close to old city. I appreciated the flexibility of staff accommodating my requests. I will definitely book with them again whenever I am in this great city.

Gorgeous venue - Rooftop Bar! Food service was flawless and the food was delicious.Rooftop bar was extremely busy all the time, making it frustrating to get drinks.Event/function staff made the booking and planning process really easy. Will be recommending to friends!!

Good pub. Friendly service. Live music. Great atmosphere and a couple of different options. The open air beer garden upstairs and the dance floor and sport tvs downstairs.Normally great but last time the bathrooms made me dry reach from the smell - I know it's the patrons that caused it but would of been nice to have to serviced and cleaned more often.

Didn't stay in a room but had a meal in the roof top bar area. Food was great, service friendly and a wonderful view. Loved the little kiosk where the drinks were prepared. Cocktails are available and looked inviting. There's a lift from the ground floor to the roof as well as stairs. We'd just arrived from a Melbourne winter and we delighted in sitting on the sunny terrace, eating, drinking, and listening to some great music. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a pleasant stay at the national. Didn't eat or drink there. Room was a good size. Windows double glazed so quiet, room was clean, bed comfy.

Go to place for lover's of live music. A great crowd of mainly over 25s enjoying the music from a very capable four piece group playing a mixture of tunes. As a tourist to Fremantle it has been our go-to place on a Saturday evening.

I just went to the rooftop bar and had lunch on a week day: the waitstaff was friendly and helpful, the food was good, the view excellent. While the food menu could have done with a few more options, it was by no means sparce. The drinks menu, on the other hand, was comprehensive, delightful and surprising- I highly recommend the Coconut Ice" from the 'Pink Menu'."

Great pub, haven't had the chance to sample food or rooms, but have made great use of the bar!The staff are friendly, if somewhat flat out, understandable given the location and number of patrons.Good beer and wine selection, pretty decent spirit selection. Overall felt welcome here and the venue is open and glorious in the nice weather. Love that the windows open up to make a really breezy and comfortable spot to drink a few relaxing beverages!

Really well presented hotel, with luxurious rooms that are well presented. The hotel has been lovingly restored and had a great history.The rooms are large and very comfortable, with a very large bathroom that had everything we needed. Our room had a balcony with views over Main Street, which was always entertaining!We did find the hotel a little noisy though, during holidays and particularly on Friday evening. A very nice place to stay however.
