The Old Monastery

A resting place that is both tranquil and peaceful. Its full of native birdlfe and animals seem drawn to it. It has large group facilities and is particularly good for Yoga, artist groups, Church retreats and marriage enrichment weekends. There are individual retreat options with the hobbit house and tree house. Families can stay in the bean house. I could not reccommended it highly enough despite that I want to keep it from being discovered as long as I can. I try to get here once every few years. The monks follow their monastic way of life as they have done for centuries, and sometimes it is possible to arrange to be a part of this special and precious experience. Stillness and quietness is encouraged.

This is a beautiful quiet retreat.The perfect balance of peaceful and spooky. The facilities are wonderful.Local to a beautiful local village for a cheeky brekkie as well.
