Absolutely loved the chive and pork dumplings - a chef speciality.Would consider it for a main next time. Very generous main serving - enough for a takeaway for another meal at home.Our child loved the Bubble Tea self selection.

The take away food was pretty good. Dumplings were good value, but the beef noodle dish was very scarce on beef. Looking forward to trying some other dishes soon.

I was staying in The Patch, and travelled to Belgrave cause I was craving Chinese food. I found this place via google, and the reviews were very high. Here are my pros and cons.Pros:1. The food really is great. Had the chicken ribs, seasonal veggies, steamed dumplings and rice. The chicken ribs were probably my favourite, followed by the seasonal veggies and then the steamed dumplings. I've had juicier dumplings before, so unfortunately the dumplings were just okay. The server gave us heaps of rice, which was nice. Also, we got a cup of bubble cup. And the owner gave us a second serving for free cause she took a liking to our son. So nice!2. Really unique interior. There's these shelves full of toys and plush dolls, and mini arcade machines, and even a section with fashion accessories for sales. Never seen anything like it before, overall more interesting then anything.Cons.1. On the Sunday night there seemed to be just one worker meaning our order took a bit longer than what we might expect back home in our suburban area.2. It's kind of dark inside. When we walked in we were confused if it was open or closing cause it was dim.3. The high chair could be cleane.Overall the food really did impress, which is the main thing. Everything else were minor critiques.I felt the owner was working very hard by herself and I only felt respect for her. I will support local businesses.

I was craving dumplings and after reading the reviews I drove 23km across town to try this place, and I don't regret it at all! As others have said, the pan-fried pork and chive dumplings with the special peanut sauce is AMAZING. Definitely a strong contender for the best dumplings I've ever had...and that sauce really is something special! It's like halfway between satay and hoisin and it's unbelievably moreish!Absolutely recommend coming here for dumplings. The staff were nice too and it had a down-to-earth, homely vibe.Prices were great too!

I loved the whole experience. My partner and I walked in and was surrounded by lots of cute nicnacks and a classic homey feel. Nina was the most wonderful server, I got to seal my own bubble tea, which she definitely didn't have to let me do, but I was very excited. The food was great, and there's few vegetarian options. I got the vegetable cold noodles,,, so addicting, and perfect for a warm day.We had a lovely chat and left with a big smile on our faces, definitely is going to become a regular spot, and definitely recommend for a cheap eat.

Love this little place. They are exceptionally community minded for starters. That aside, they have retro arcade games you can play while you wait.We got fried rice, pork & chives and chicken and corn dumplings and steamed bbq pork buns. That with a couple of drinks came to a whisker over $40.All food was very tasty and served in a good and friendly manner. It was a very nice cullinary experience.

Lunch deal was amazing. The flavours sounded odd at first, with peanut sauce on dumplings... But was pleasantly surprised. We had the pork and pumpkin and vegetables. Both were excellent.Lunch was $10 for dumplings and a drink... Genuine bargain.We will be back for sure!
