Coles Ballarat (Peel St)

Good store but come on, the girls at the deli cause their own kaos. We took a ticket , waiting, waiting ready to be served but up come a couple of young chaps and the girl decides to serve them first. The my wife finally gets served as she had a ticket. Then the girls call out who's next. One says I'm next , another says I have the next ticket. The Coles girl says we are not using ticket numbers so a big mess as some had tickets and others get served first. What's the point of a system if u don't use it.

I recently had a click and collect experience that left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, the service was very slow and unorganized, and I ended up waiting for almost 30 minutes before being served. Even though I arrived before others who were eventually served before me, the delivery person named Abdul seemed to prioritize customers who arrived later.I was disappointed and frustrated with the service. It was certainly unprofessional to see such a lack of organization and fairness, and I hope that steps are taken to improve the click and collect experience for customers in the future.

Better if you don't go of a night but friendly staff

Easy and plenty of parking.. found all the same specials as my regular Coles.. friendly staff and clean store.There's some eating places around

Well stocked supermarket. Fresh department very good. Store reasonably tidy and staff helpful. Plenty parking.

Found parking Quickly. Products were easily found. Staff Good..Will go again when down that end of Town

This was my first visit and found a good place in this small city to shop with.They have good parking space and got most of the selves full of stock.Everything was so easy to find and the staff was nice and friendly as well.Gives you all the information even if you are new to the place and need to know something.Likes my shopping here. Check your bread B4 buying. Some wholemeal was baked today, some yesterday and some the day before that. If it's not fresh, what's the point of a bakery? Don't pay full price for 2day-old bread.

As a child my mum always did our family grocery shop at Coles New World supermarket, Wangaratta, Vic.My first casual, after school & holiday job was at that store. In those days Coles and other retail stores provided on the job traing to all staff. Quality customer service was top priority.Since leaving home and buying my own groceries I have shopped at Coles. So, one way & another I have been a loyal Coles customer for over 60 years now. I was aware Coles was not the cheapest supermarket.I stayed loyal to Coles for 2 main reasons.1. Coles high standard of customer service, which included checkouts operated by trained/qualified retail staff who provided important services to customers, including welcoming them with a smile; staff actually knew their regular customers by name. Checkout operators demonstrated Coles respect for and value of their customers.2. Coles has also been known for having a large range of products.My local Coles supermarket has now replaced all but a couple of staff operated checkouts with a large number of self serve checkouts. Not Happy Jan!!!"Because of this change I have stopped doing our full weekly shop at Coles

Shelves always bare in the afternoon. Staff surly at best, down right offensive at worst!
