Great spot to go 4wding on the beach. Make sure to bring an air compressor and tyre deflators. Make sure to check tide times and conditions before heading out, and make sure to get a permit to be on the beach from the metro service station. Had a blast here, will definitely be coming back again.

Stockton beach is a great place to take your 4WD and enjoy the beach. Make sure you buy an entry ticket and respect the park by taking all rubbish and following all the rules

Stockton is a great place to test your 4WD provided it's a proper one. Had to pull a Kluger AWD off the beach which had sunk into the sand to its frame. Don't get on the beach if you don't have a proper 4WD.

Pretty unique place being able to ride and drive on the beach and dunes. I’ve been here some days when the waves are so calm and water beautifully clear. It’s amazing! Pretty cool when the military jets and choppers fly overhead along the beach on the way to Williamtown air base.

Well that was a great stop! I entered the sand dunes at Anna Bay by foot and walked around and over dunes, sometimes feeling like I am the only one there. Stunning dunes, beautiful spots.Only 1 star down as I can't get over how much rubbish was spread over the sand dunes. Wish people would bother to pick up just 3 pieces while walking around. I did and saw at least 2 other people cleaning up - thank you for that!

Yes it is one of my favourite places. If you are a new to this read below:The sand is very soft. At the entry, there is a car park. Stop and reduce the tyre pressure to (18psi to 15psi). Then get to the access way and drive without stop (keep it going nicely). At the beach, do not stop in the middle of nowhere - just get to a spot that has a plenty of space in front of you. Do not park near the water.Make sure you are approachable by other drivers to pull you out if you get stuck.Enjoy!

Lovely spot.Unfortunately, very windy and no shade at all. Very nice that you can have a fireplace, watch stars. Near the water, but waves to big for swimming.

Fantastic experience. What a beautiful national park. Went on a 4WD tour and was simply amazed at the size and beauty of the place and its abundance of bird life.

This park used to be a beautiful public resource. It's still a great beach, but for anyone interested in camping, it's all restricted to a couple of small camp spots all on top of each other now.The dunes are amazing but you can't access them anymore. The corrupt local council has turned the northern end into a sand mine for personal profit.Access is pretty easy these days.

Since it was taken over by National Parks there are severe limitations on where you can explore...and no camping... that's progress.....still strewn with historical garbage dumps and bizarre fences that are semi maintained....on the plus side the new access point to the beach is far more convenient.
