Our dogs love this safe beach with it's flat approach to the water. There is plenty of sand for them to play on - but leave your dogs on a long leash as the road is close by. We followed instructions from TV Vet Dr Harry & years ago made a very long 'beach/play' leash with 20meters of light weight cord wound onto an empty hand fishing reel. Just put a swivel & a snap hook onto the end so no tangles & we have a very happy (if slightly disobedient & fee spirited) little dog.

Tiny unfenced area on a small beach strewn with sticks and logs.Fortunately council had just mown the grass are which made it ok. My JR enjoyed sniffing all the debris on the sand

Dirty tiny beach and dirty water.. Was at sunset.. Maybe just bad timing? But won't go there again, other beaches a lot nicer

Great spot to run your dog into the water and on the sand. Not very busy most of the time. Make sure to stay within the dog allowed areas as rangers patrol quite regularly!

A quiet, pretty spot, perfect for a picnic! (As long as you don't need bathrooms or running water, which may be available elsewhere in the area). Picture shows the view over the beach towards Batemans Bay.

Lovely living here and special for visitors. Surfside is great for a walk into town and by the water.
