Our visit to Star Casino was an absolute delight, even though we didn't gamble. The atmosphere was electric, and the venue was stunning with its modern design and vibrant energy. The entertainment provided was top-notch, ensuring a memorable experience. Star Casino is a fantastic destination for a night out, even if you're not into gambling and staff was very warm as well!

I am completely disgusted with your hotel and reception staff.It is my birthday and I had booked in for the night and for dinner with my family and on arrival I was asked to pay for the accommodation which had not been relayed to me previously and my husband was not joining us until after 5pm after work who had the means of payment. No one offered any solution. My husband tried to ring the manager and was still waiting after two hours for a reply. I was hoping to take a client with a disability for a swim which never happened.My birthday was completely ruined and friends who I had organised to meet I had to cancel and go home!I would definitely not recommend this establishment to anyone!

We Ubered over from Surfers Paradise to have a fun night at the casino, only to be turned away because my husband has a little feather tattoo on his head.Absolutely disgusting and discriminatory rule, and I am glad we didn’t spend a single cent in your horrible establishment. Every staff member we spoke to agreed that you are discriminating. Really need to rethink your old fashioned old person rules hey. . Wish Management the worst x

Best night in a hotel room I've ever spent! Spacious room, great view, decent wardrobe, great bathroom and the bed was like floating on a cloud! Really friendly staff. One small thing I would say is the TV remote needed cleaning. I always carry sanitiser so I quickly did mine.

Words cannot describe the joys that the Star offers. Being able to walk down to a buffet breakfast and then spend the next 3 hours smashing $5 slaps on the pokies all before 10 in the morning makes for a proper mint holiday destination.The perks provided by the executive suite far outweigh any additional cost. Will definitely be returning in the future to try and recuperate the losses experienced by the Bricklayers ATM.

Wide range of restaurants and bars around, bang right smack in Broadbeach and even if you’d wanna try out surrounding restaurants, it’s just a 5 minute walk away.Hotel rooms were clean, bright and spacious for a decent staycation with one other. Nice pool area for a morning soak and drinks by the pool.Definitely recommend for anyone to get the package that comes with food vouchers and breakfast, and to sign up for the hotel membership (10% off everything you spend within the precinct).

I had the bad experience at the end of my staying in this hotelThe manger in the reception is the worst manager I faced in my life!!!She forced us to pay 130$ for late checkout without any noticed beforeI know this is my checkout day but I haven’t informed that fees will apply if I’m late! Even nobody checked or call us to leave or say a word about the feesThey surprise Their guests to pay more and wants to scared me that she will call police if I didn’t pay!She has no idea how to handle the situation and make me feel sorry or pay with a kind way. She was very bad no matter about other new guests waiting in the reception!!!At the end I’m so happy to be blocked and being in the black list from the star grand hotel all over Australia. I don’t recommend this hotel if you expect to have relaxed vacation without argument because it’s obvious she used to forced their guests to pay more before leaving

Very clean & comfortable rooms. Staff were great and helpful. The parking arrangements need to be addressed, not very good. We wanted to have a celebration bottle of wine with our friends, however there was no common area to do this. Pool deck was closed.

The hotel does not feel like a 5 star, more like a 3 star. Buffet breakfast was average nothing special. Concierge Ming, charged me extra $100 surcharge due to it being a Saturday when I already told them this surcharge was included in my package. Luckily another concierge refunded me the fee. The hotel beds also do not have duvet cover just sheets which is pretty disgusting. Apparently this was higher managements decision.

Stayed here and the nicest part is the pool area. Music is too loud so could do with a tune down. The casino is extremely busy on the weekend which was a let down in our experience.The harvest buffet breakfast was great and lots to choose from although the egg was not nice and cold!There was only one man making omelette and a line and wait of approx 15 minutes.In a busy period or weekend as such they should have 2 chefs making these.The room itself was clean. Bed comfortable. Service was done everyday and bottles of water added which was nice and new towels.It’s a great location and the pool area was the winner. If it wasn’t for that I would have chose a more quieter hotel than the star.Large selection of restaurants available also.Would go back on a quieter period on a special deal not full price.
