Good Sammy Willetton Op Shop & Containers For Change

I donated to this Good Sammy’s for the first time.Huge place. I was told to deposit the items ‘down the end’ by a young woman who looked very harassed. I only saw 2 people on the floor and front desk appeared unstaffed most of the time.‘Down the end ‘ was quite a long walk so if you are carrying heavy bags don’t bother.I finally reached a holding area which was unstaffed at first so I deposited my bags of donations in a couple of plastic containers.A young man came in shortly after carrying his mid morning snack and decidedly very unhappy to see me there. He appeared to have a learning disability but didn’t have even basic customer service skills. I asked if it was ok where I had left the donations and got a quite rude and abrupt ‘in the yellow bin’ which turned out to be a recycling bin. I apologised and said It was my first time donating there. He again rudely stated ‘In the bin’ and huffed as if implying I was stupid.My overall impression was too big, too much stuff, poorly managed due to lack of staff. No signage as to where to go to deposit or where to deposit once in the right area.There were lots of customers and I wouldn’t be surprised if people walk out without paying as there is no one to stop them.I deeply regretted having given much loved and cared for clothes to such an organisation.

Cool place nice big areas to roll a pram through while little one is sleeping, change rooms small however. Used to have a large good selection of bric a brac, that has changed now to allow for more of a range of men's clothes which is a plus when shopping with the hubby.

A nice place to get good bargains though some/most stuffs being on sale are not brand new. However when you can come to places like this, you know it's for a good cause and it's for a good bargain.They have lots of things on sale and they try their best to categorise them so that it's easier for consumers to look for what they want.

One of the bigger op shops I've been to that is also neat and tidy. Lots of choices for most people and I see myself coming back from time to time to find that hidden gem. Bought some books back and service is awesome!

Good store. Cheap clothes. Neat and tidy. However terrible customer service. The Asian male in front looked extremely bored and annoyed. He treated all the other customers bad as well as me. Didn't listen to what anyone was saying and just assumed what they were trying to say and kept repeating himself. Very very rude and arrogant way of speech. I have volunteered in op shops before. This is not how staff should behave. If a staff member does not want to talk to customers or does not have customer service skills, they should not be placed in a role where they have contact with customers.

We just went to the shop this afternoon. We were just shocked with the cashier’s attitude at this place! We have been to other OP shop, but I don’t think we got treated this way before. He was mumbling to us and we couldn’t hear, so I said “sorry?” then he just told us “$20!” then shook his head. And as we were leaving, he muttered and cursed some horrible words to himself knowing that it was aimed at us. What’s wrong with this place?!!!! We won’t be returning AGAIN!!! Very disappointed.

Always interesting and I love fossicking through the miscellaneous boxes. A good shop for those after books and a selection in large print for those with low vision. They get some lovely furniture, kitchenware, clothing and accessories all at fair prices. Staffed by friendly volunteers who are keen to help find what you are looking for.

One of Perth's best!Well organised this shop that stocks an impressive range of woman's an men’s fashion.Good to see full racks ,well displayed ,clean and priced to be sold!Op shop retailers in this space have been ego over value scratching with the sharpie on label for too long.Overpricing everything takes away the 'opportunity' from the shopper and the length of time sitting on the shelf negates the recycling purpose.Check it out Sammy’s Wiliton like Tracy’s Mom" has it going on”!"

I agree. Very rude male staff (one of the regular) at the counter. There was only 1 sign says children’s book 50 cent each. But I’ve being insisted charged $1 because it’s a relatively bigger book?! I don’t mind paying more as long as it says so, but with the overriding attitude that’s so unbearable for customers to return. I regretted even more when I politely said thank you after a horrible service. Can anyone believe that he just walked with a snort instead.
