Nikola Estate

We dined for lunch in the new Woodcutters restaurant and enjoyed the incredible steaks. My 5 year old just loved her pizza - said was the best she has eaten. Great GSM wine and attentive service - thanks team!

Very impressed with Woodcutters restaurant . Beautiful new venue . My friends an I enjoyed a Unique lunch . Couldn’t fault a thing. Great waitstaff, amazing choice of food, and wine. About time we had a step up venue in the Valley, will be back soon.

Fabulous restaurant! Loved the amuse bouche and bread. Steak was cooked well and the cafe Paris butter was wonderful. The decor is simple yet elegant and the service was friendly and professional. What a great start to their first weekend open. We will be back.

Was there for my school ball and the outdoor setting was not cleaned - the top had spiders and spider webs everywhere. The food was not very nice - meat was undercooked and the chicken was dry along with other issuesTables were unevenly spaced so some people could move around freely while others were squished

We were here at Nikola Estate for the first time for an afternoon wedding, and this review is solely based on the venue grounds rather than the wine tasting or meal experience.After reading the various constructive reviews about Ms Chen’s wedding, we were a bit apprehensive about our expectation. Fortunately on the wedding day, there was no other events such as children party there beforehand, and the toilet facility was clean.The venue ground itself is indeed gorgeous, and the chapel itself was a delightful, airy & chic event space for weddings.After seeing Alison the event manager at the wine cellar door upon arrival to ask for direction, we did not see her anymore for the remaining of the wedding.As the wedding party only had the ceremony there and host the reception at another venue, we can only review the food and wine and service next time.Tips:- the main parking is a little far from the chapel, with a closer car park tucked away down the road for any bulky items- toilet facility is a small distance from the chapel

We had our wedding at Nikola Estate in February this year after falling in love with the beautiful grounds and meeting the bubbly and energetic Alison, the Estate wedding planner. It was a warm day with 105 guests in the new Pavilion facility for the reception and the ceremony at the homestead just before. The entire day ran without a hitch and I have had so many guests comment on how amazing the venue was with the sit down meals described as next level. It truly was the perfect day and we would like to thank Alison and her team for helping bring our special day to life. Highly recommend ☺️

It took us a while to write this review, but we thought it needed the time and effort it needed. From the moment we met Alison and Sophie we were welcomed into the venue with open arms.My Mother actually recommended the venue to us so we thought we’d check it out. The venue itself is breathtaking, our favourite colour is purple so the gorgeous jacaranda trees were like a little sign that this may just be the place.I am from Italian background so of course the most important aspect to me was making sure everyone was fed. We originally had a group tasting where only myself and partner were able to attend, however I requested that our families attend also, which this request was agreed to thankfully. We enjoyed the group tasting and would recommend it goes ahead as individualised with each family in the future. (Something to consider with the gorgeous new restaurant just opening).Alison and Sophie would respond to my queries and resolve any questions happily.The wedding night: An incredible soirée!We had the most incredible reception inside the new Pavilion which, with our additions like florals, tables and decorations, looked exquisite. The wedding was in April so it was nice and cool in the venue, there was no need for heaters or aircon either.I was thoroughly impressed with the service on the night. Alison, the event coordinator was a present member of staff the whole night. I remember watching her dutifully orchestrate the events occurring, and was on hand throughout the night. The staff were dressed professionally, were warm and polite.There were no complaints with any of the dietary requirement meals - these were all catered for!The bridal party had a special room which was ready for us on arrival. A delicious platter and personal waiter serving us our drinks. So it really started off our night in a special way.Cannot recommend Nikola Estate enough, the history, the incredible grounds, the wonderful food! It was like a fairy tale.We cannot wait to come back and celebrate the venue again in the near future. We definitely cannot wait to be guests at the new restaurant!XG & J

We went on the opening weekend. Always small issues to sort out on opening weeks, but I feel they managed quite well. Service whilst a little slow was met with lovely staff. Once order taken the food came out in good time. The bread in individual little pots was amazing, and the butter was a huge hit with everyone on the table. The wood fired pizza's were delicious and of course we enjoyed their great wines with our lunch. Coffee was excellent as well. Nice restaurant and beautiful grounds. Perfect place for a day out.

Excellent dining experience at Woodcutters restaurant today.Had the Rump and my wife had the market fish both were very tasty.Service was great from arrival until departure especially on opening day.Can’t wait to return.

This restaurant is bloody amazing.We just had the most phenomenal lunch with Nikola Estate. We learned they have only been open a couple weeks - well damn I'm glad we got in early.Roo entree, with Duck and Chicken mains - all cooked perfectly. Both paired with some of the best wines we have had in a long time (Tempranillo and Geographe Chardonnay - the latter is an absolute delight).Great service, wonderful setting. Recommend getting in soon or risk missing out.Compliments to the chef and the wine maker. You're both phenomenal.
