Advantaged Care at Edensor Gardens

My grandfather had to get respite care after a blood infection and a fall in mid 2020.It was a quite distressing at the time to make the move because covid had just hit as he was moving in and we weren’t able to visit him for a long time.The team at Advantaged Care was always proactive at communicating both his personal situation and the current situation at the home to the families regarding COVID, and they were successful at preventing any covid cases (as far as I know, across all their facilities).My grandfather is quite sound of mind, so he was allowed to bring his computer and books, and he seems to be quite entertained working on his projects, keeping spreadsheets with horse racing results, and has made several friends there.All in all, we were very happy with our decision, and when the time comes to make a decision around permanent care would definitely be looking to go back to Edensor Gardens.

Its not an easy decision moving your loved one into care. However this was made less distressing by the welcoming and kindhearted faces by the entire home at Edensor Gardens, and by that i mean the ladies on the front desk, the management, staff and even the residents. I remember when i first came in on our tour i was able to see the joy on all of the residents faces, seeing them sitting around the dining tables eating their meals together like a big family. I heard laughing and even had residents introducing themselves to me. The residents were engaged and looked happy. I knew this was the place for my dad. Dad's stay was not for long, however he was happy and well cared for during his stay and the team went out of their way to ensure our family were comfortable and able to see our dad during this time of Covid-19. Thank you to the whole team from the bottom of our hearts you are all very special and your care for my dad is greatly appreciated.

Feeling blessed to have both of my Grandparents staying in such a beautiful environment! The staff are all exceptional carers who go above and beyond! My grandmother who doesn't really understands well in English has a beautiful bond with one of the carers (Deepak) she looks forward in seeing him especially when he paints her nails and toes and brushes her hair as she can't do her self, they would have a laugh or two with my Grandfather Deepak always seems to cheer my grandmother up when she's feeling down. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone who needs care.

Lovely place and facilities, my Mum came to stay in February 2022, she is very happy with activites they have and the bus outings. With Covid around there has been a few issues but they have been dealt with pretty quickly.Only complaint is the food , heard a few people staying there that the food is very bland under cooked and taste like canned spaghetti and not nice to eat, hopefully this will be rectified as its a beautiful place to stay and I want mum to enjoy staying there

This was my father’s first time staying in an aged care home under respite care & we did not know what to expect. However we were pleasantly surprised. The staff & nurses were extremely helpful, accommodating & caring. Not only with my family but most importantly with my father. I would not hesitate to take him back there whether under respite or as a permanent resident. We were very happy with our experience & would like to thank the wonderful team.

Not a nice place with very in experienced staff who neglected to treat my mothers pressure wound properlyI had to ask for an ambulance to send her to hospital and now it can’t be fixed it’s gone to far.Thinking of putting her somewhere nice and new turned out to be the biggest mistake of my life.

We are very happy the way our Dad is been look after , I know how hard the work the nurses is . Also I am so happy with the way the nursing home is dealing with this Epidemic you are doing a wonderful Job

Advantaged Care Edensor Gardens has exceeded my expectations with the quality of care they are providing my Mum.The facility is clean and spacious with beautiful gardens to explore. The Nursing staff and office staff are extremely caring, attentive and compassionate.The rooms are beautiful and It didn’t take mum long to settle, make friends and call it home.

Lovely facility. Beautiful rooms. Beautiful gardens with many places to sit outside with family. The staff are attentive and friendly. The meals are quality, home cooked. My friend does enjoy the food.

I couldn't think of a better aged care facility for my mum. The staff are caring, friendly and professional. I know that when I'm not there visiting, mum is cared for in a manner better than I could ever care for her.
