Australia Post - Maddington Post Shop

A staff member was scolding and belittling another staff member in front of all the customers creating a really tense and awkward environment. The lady who was telling off the other staff member reluctantly came to serve me as the line was getting really long. She then asked for details to prove I was given permission to collect the package for my partner so I was pulling up the details on my phone, then she huffed at me if you're texting your bf then can I serve the person behind you first". Would only have taken me 5 seconds to get the details up but I was so flustered my brain was blanking. Very unpleasant and anxiety inducing experience and I would avoid at all costs if possible."

I have never received poorer customer service than I received today. Two staff members went out of their way to ignore customers waiting so they could 'google' why they would not process my passport renewal. I personally spoke to The Australian Passport office and was assured that there was no issue but they still refused without actually talking directly to the Relevant Department. Anyone can do a google search and get the answer they want but that doesn't make it a fact.- Update, application successfully submitted at another Aus Post although the Photos taken by Maddington did not comply and I had to get more done. Not only wasted my time but cost me money.Can you give Minus 5 stars because that is what is deserved?!

I was served by maria today, and I have to say it was a pretty revolting experience , not a very nice person. I don't know what her problem was but maybe consider another career since u clearly can't deal with customers face to face. I thought dealing with the south Asian lady was shocking but this was just terrible. I will no longer come to this store and I pray to God that my parcels don't ever get sent to this post office.

Was attended to by a rude staff member, when someone approaches you with a smile and says hello, your initial reaction shouldn’t be ready to pick a fight with them?We asked for assistance and were told, ‘I don’t know, I can’t help you.’ We mentioned our last form we filled out was at the post office, would you know where would go this time? She responded ‘I’ve been here for 17 years and would not have a clue.’ I asked if she could ask someone else as we have filled out and returned these forms through the post shop (we have the receipts) She walked off mid way while I was speaking, brushed us off and said I will speak to my manager! Comes back and says nope don’t do it!Horrible attitude for someone that’s been at this post office for so long. It was not busy. There was only 2 people in the store and 3 workers. Review your staff member/s as I am not surprised with the 1 star reviews and similar experiences many others have had to encounter.Oh It’s not ok to continue to let someone’s behaviour ruin peoples mental or state of mind because they needed to make a quick run to the post office. You catch people of guard when you treat them with disrespect for no reason. Especially when they are giving you respect as a customer service attendant.Do better Maddington Post office.

attended the store today for a simple task waited in a line for 15 minutes before being refused service by one lady and then staff member Maria telling us to do it online making the assumption we were both in a bad mood when with that type of service i think everyone in that shop would of been

Shoutout to your staff member Hayley for making our passport submission an easy process. It was a Saturday and they were very busy but she still accommodated and took the time to listen to us and explained clearly the processes needed. She was very patient with everyone. not like a typical grumpy clerk in most post offices ive visited. thankkk youuu Hayley.

The Post Office Assistant was extremely helpful, she spent quite a bit of time helping me choose age appropriate items. She even showed me things I didn't even know they sold. I was impressed with the variety of items they had for Children and Teenagers they were also very reasonably priced. I've always found the staff at Maddington Post Office very helpful. They are very professional, helpful & they don't rush you which I find a lot of Shops do. I'm really impressed with Maddington Post Office. The Ceo's of the Post Office should be very proud of the staff at Maddington they epitomise the meaning of Customer Service. If they have an Award for best Post Office or best Staff Maddington definitely deserve to get it. I would like to Thank the Customer Service Lady very much for all her help.
