Birdwood Cafe
Ate here on a rainy Sunday morning. Good fit out and prompt service. This menu is priced very cheaply however you get what you pay for. The smashed avo and ham & cheese croissant were bellow average and the coffee tasted like a wheat juice. I will try dinning here again as I may of had an off day because this place always seems busy so it must be good so if I have a more pleasant experience I will edit this review.

Ham & Egg roll with small capacuino$18.50 , online menu prices seems outdatedOnly thing was ham was cold straight out of fridge.Would have been better if ham was at room temperature or slightly heated or fried.Wait staff very goodGot free water & polite

I had a big expectation about this place, becouse always was so busy... unfortunately my experience didn't was the best. The service was great but slow. Food was a good presentation but missing a lot of seasoning and the beans was a little bit hard. The coffee was perfect.

Maybe because they were short staffed or they were just extra busy today, I noticed it took the staff a very long time to clean the tables. The outdoor seatings are not the greatest in terms of comfort. With that being said, good selection of brunch menu, my partner did enjoy his avocado toast and I enjoyed my coffee (not so much the gluten-free fig & raisin toast, though, it was way too dry).

Good coffee and their sandwiches were a pleasant surprise, feed was decently well and fair value. Will be coming back here for sure, although it can get pretty crowded! Seatings against the counter top on the side of the cafe can be a bit awkward if you’re alone because because a stranger could sit right opposite you - but hey I guess that’s an opportunity to meet new people. Service was friendly and prompt as well, and just has a warm ambiance/atmosphere to it.

Stopped by birdwood cafe as it looked pretty busy and it did not disappoint!Ordered their avocado smash and added a poached egg (rearranged the plating a little) and this was simple but so good! I loved the extra seasoning that came with the toast (think there were sesame seeds, cumin..) which made it a little more special. the cappuccino was standard but appreciate the beautiful latte art that came with it. Prices were reasonable too ☺️

I chose Birdwood Cafe as the place to celebrate International Women’s Day for our workplace. We had a big group outside and we found it a lovely atmosphere to chat about the issues of the day.The wait staff were really nice and took our order quickly. Our group were all happy with the food they received & the portions are generous!I noticed there were a few people with dogs on leashes nearby so I’m guessing you could sit outside with a dog.Parking is a bit tricky so we parked in the Coles car park.Thanks for hosting us and we will be back again for our next event!

A great local gem in the center of Lane Cove within the Canape precinct. The coffee is best in Lane Cove - rich and smooth French roast served in beautiful cups that open up the coffee's potential. The food menu has been stable over the years and consistently delivers good quality. Even though it was Sunday, we got our orders quickly; great local service with a smile. Outstanding inside and outside sitting options, especially the one sitting on both sides of the opening windows. Overall it is always an enjoyable experience; for budget-conscious customers worth noting there is a 10% surcharge on Sunday, and there are two shots of espresso in a large coffee, with an extra image costing 70c.

We popped in here for a quick coffee and muffin. Great atmosphere, friendly service, muffin was yum, nice and bright cafe. My decaf was more milky than I like and Doug's coffee was a little cold for his liking. We still really enjoyed our experience.
