The University of Queensland Cricket Club

WEP Harris Oval is within the University of Queensland precinct at St Lucia. It is surrounded by large gums trees (be wary of falling branches). There is street parking and also a car park near the childcare centre. There is a facility centre at the oval and nearby shops at St Lucia (IGA, cafes, etc)

Probably the best cricket ground in brisbane so nicely looked after.

It has practice nets. Good for casual batting bowling practice

The WEP Harris Oval is an excellent space to relax on campus. The oval is bookable through UQ sport and on weekends you can watch a game of cricket. The new white picket fence makes the place look rather classy, and the shaded grassy mounds would make a superb spot for a picnic while listening to the pleasant sounds of willow on leather. There is a bubbler located near the pavillion. Eduroam wifi is available as spillover close to the heritage listed Union College. A path between Union and the oval links the space to the sciences precinct and college road. All in all an excellent space and kudos to UQ P&F, UQ Sport and the UQ Cricket Club for ensuring the area is just a lovely area to spend a Saturday watching my favourite sport.

Beautiful place to sit and watch good cricket. Home of the university cricket club. Field is lush and you can sit in the grandstand if you want.

Always a glorious cricket ground to visit, wish we could take it back to Toowoomba
