IMS upgrade paid for but never installed - Weltmeister MelbournePurchased a 2008 987 Boxster in 2021 with a documented comprehensive service history from Weltmeister Melbourne (>$25K over many years), including an IMS upgrade carried out in 2019.Recently took my car to another independent Porsche service company, and to my surprise was told you can’t replace the IMS in a 2008 Boxster without splitting the engine case.Back to Weltmeister again for clarification only to receive a phone call a week later admitting the following –In 2019 we uncovered a rouge employee in our organisation who was billing out work which he never completed. We can confirm that the IMS bearing was never replaced in your car even though the previous owner paid for this upgrade service and you purchased the vehicle from him on this understanding. We subsequently sacked this person and will now contact the previous owner to compensate him.I replied in writing to Weltmeister asking how this could happen, why did I have to uncover it and seeking some form of compensation as I am now the owner of the vehicle that contains the original IMS bearing with a potential risk of failure.The manager's reply - Your car has a very low risk of failure, we have compensated the original owner, any compensation for you has been refused, this is our final decision. Very Dissatisfied.

These guys were very professional and even fixed a problem of water leaking into my cayenne without charge. As a result of that gesture - Im going to get my car serviced there moving forward. Great customer service!

Inspected a car from a private seller interstate. Honest and thorough communication at all times. Their professionalism gave me confidence in their ability. Would recommend to anyone else considering an interstate PPI.

I purchased a 911from these guys about 15 years ago... Terrible decision...when we got the car shipped up to Queensland it ended up having very little oil in it. They didn't believe us so they told us to go to a car shop on the gold coast and have them drain the sump, fill it with oil then put a seal over the sump plug to prove I wasn't messing with it. Did that and the oil when checked in two weeks was gone down by about 5litres. Long story short it went back to them to be fixed but when we got it back the same thing happened again but added to this now the clear on the paint on the petrol cap lid was peeled and lifted the size of a 50cent and the car just didn't seem to drive / feel the same. The car looked beautiful when we got it 1985 Burgundy 911 wide body. I was so sad about it, it was my first Porsche, they bought the car back from us but we lost about 4grand in the whole transaction .

I took the car for a Pre-Purchase Inspection. The service is nice, but they missed 2 very obvious things, the breaks booster was dead making the brakes very hard and hardly breaking. The second thing is the roof handle was broken and knocking.Very frustrating, and very costly.There are better car shops around.

Very experienced professionals and they help me with every little thing I need to do with my car. They got me original parts for my car and were very reliable. Highly recommend if you’ve got a Porsche you love

The staff at Welmeister are experienced and knowledgeable. I was able to get great advice during my search for a 996 and did a great job for the PPI on the one I ended up purchasing. Would highly recommend the guys at Weltmeister.

Unprofessional when getting a PPI. Unhelpful and they don't return calls. They give different information depending who you speak to and don't really know their stuff. There are better places around. I would not take my porsche there again

Fantastic place to be for the service. Staffs were friendly, experienced & really helpful. Happy to recommend them to all those who owns a Porsche.
