Shelly Beach

Long beautiful beach with nice waves suitable for various activities. There are a couple of parkings and a few cafe around as well.

Been coming here since I was a little girl. It's a beautiful beach. Absolutely worth going just to check out the rock pools.

Love it here. Love low tide rock pools. Lifeguards and drones are there for safe swimming. Toilet block usely clean.*take a shade tent. Pack picnic and drinks or go drive pick up some lunch near town. Café up road a good bit.We always go early and then drive to Lennox for lunch.

On arrival waiting to be seated, 4 staff walked past us, not even acknowledging us. I ended up walking into the cafe when I was approached by a waitress asking me what I wanted. After explaining we had a booking we were escorted to our table, my mum took the seat looking out over the beach and I was facing a wall.Upon sitting down we were bombarded by 3 staff asking what we wanted to order (didn't even have the menu). Then after deciding what we wanted, it was a struggle trying to get service. I asked one of the staff walking around looking lost if she could take order and she approached another staff member to attend to us.Food was passable, service was atrocious and way over priced.I would have at least thought that with the view of the beach the tables and chairs would have been placed so all customers enjoyed the view.

Iconic beach that still has old features. Great rock pools and views.

It's a great beach and is patrolled on school holidays It's also a good fishing spot.

May be one of our favourite beaches. Lots of parking. Good facilities. You do get bluebottles here on account of the occasional strong breezes. Lengthy shallow area.

Nice bike route, excellent views, beautiful beach, good resting places and viewpoints

Easy walk to flags from carpark, cold public shower. Patrolled beach. Not protected from southerly winds or North easterly. Nice beach for kids. Sometimes a pretty strong rip. No cafe or anything right at the car park but there is one a short walk down the road.
