I’ve been a client of Angela for many years and she’s always been so amazing to me and my hair! From long long hair to a short bob she’s made every hair cut perfect and I’ve always walked out of the salon feeling amazing. Their treatments are so worth the extra $$ to leave your hair feeling soft and fresh for weeks. The rest of the team at S&A hair design are also beautiful, outgoing girls who are always so welcoming!

I have been going to this hairdresser for a few years and have always had great outcomes and customer service. However, last time I went for some colour for a balayage look on brown hair. Since this appointment I’m anxious all the time my hair is going to fall out - blonde strands come out from the root frequently - it’s been feeling gummy at the ends and have noticed patches of thinning of the hair / bald patches - luckily I have thick hair so it’s not too noticeable. I became anxious in the appointment when the foils were being taken out and the stylist pulled a face and hurried away. I didn’t feel reassured for the rest of the appointment and wasn’t told what had happened. The integrity of my hair feels awful and the middle back part is so thin compared to the rest - makes me believe a lot of over-processed hair from the dye fell out during the rinse and I was not made aware / reassured or compensated for this. I paid full price for this hair colouring - following the appointment was given a free deep conditioning, however, this didn’t compensate for what a poor job the stylist did.

I started coming here after having surgery and was unable to wash my hair myself. This was a year and a half ago and I’m still coming in weekly to have a wash and blow dry as I loved the experience so much. I’ve also had my hair coloured here and Zsuzsi is my go to gal for this now. They have their own quiet room where they wash your hair, plus you get to sit in a massage chair AND they give you a relaxing head massage. The girls are the main reason I keep coming back, however. They are all so friendly and professional and have always made me feel so welcomed. I always look forward to my weekly wash and blow dry (coming from someone who used to hate having their hair done). I go to this hair shop for a wile now and they Do good hair cuts. And I wanted a hair cut and they said ok but how old are you I have never been asked this question before when I went there and I said 15 most people say I look 20. Then they said we can’t do kids until when it new year but there where kids younger then me getting a hair cut. Also on that day I just came from work with my dad and we are Tradies. She turned me down because I was a tradie and thinking these people are too dirty and poor and I was shocked so than I said I was 18. But there’s no different between an 15 and 18 year old hair cut. So that’s how I know she was judging me and I could tell with her Tone and look it was like a seen out of pretty woman. But what was funny is I am a good customer and not a poor one. I have money and quite a lot of it more then the person that served me and she only looked like she was a new staff about 25.

I came in to curate a long locks look on my short hair for a special occasion. Nicole helped me colour match (perfectly!) some clip in extensions, then helped me place them in, cut them and styled them perfectly to achieve my dream look. The rest of the team were so lovely and all came to check out my new look. Such a fun time sitting in the chair at S&A!

I was a walk in inquiry today and was fitted in within 15mins. Rema looked after me so well today. Listened carefully to what I was after and did exactly what I asked. She parted my hair in the right place before cutting to make sure it sat correctly at the end of the cut and the end result was excellent. Rema also made some great care and product suggestions for my hair. Very friendly and efficient service and well priced.
