Pokolbin Village General Store

Very friendly staff; excellent, simple food (the toasted sandwiches are tasty and well prepared), the coffee was one of the best I have had on the road in a long time (double shot long black). Not expensive and excellent quality.

After a weekend in the hunter, my partner and I dropped in before heading home for a bacon and eggs sandwich and some snacks for the road. The sandwich's were delicious and well priced, great choices for snacks and drinks, the staff are well presented, very friendly and up for a chat and laugh before you leave.. Overall a great little spot will be returning..

This store is Pokolbins' little secret. A mini supermarket and freshly made food too. Burgers, bacon and egg rolls, delicious sandwiches at a reasonable price. I had my doubts, but once I tasted my burger, it took me back 30 years. The taste was like the old-fashioned delicious corner shop burgers. Wow.The owners were super friendly and helpful. They must be new there because they're not charging the Hunter Valley overly expensive prices yet. I bought a coffee from 3 shops down yesterday, and they charged me $7.15, but this store charged me $5 for the same coffee.There's tables just outside to sit and enjoy your food. Trust me, this is place is good.

Great showers in the rooms perfect spot if you're moving around the hunter a lot. Will definitely come back here

Comfortable suite-style accommodation. The wi-fi was sketchy when all the accommodations were occupied. The smart tv would not reliably hook-up to wi-fi. Well located with lots of restaurant choices and cellar doors nearby while at the same time having wildlife out your front door.

Staff are friendly, coffee is great & the brekky wrap is a winner! Highly recommend

My husband purchased 3 items as gifts at the general store 5 mins later I asked if I could return 1 item, as I considered the item to be an unsuitable gift. The store refused to provide a refund and therefore I has to purchase another (unnecessary) item.In general their products are overpriced.

Nice stop for a morning coffee.Has a general store, cheese and chocolate shop and a bottleshop full of local wines and beers.

Dropped in looking for a coffee and something to eat. Pleasantly surprised by the choice of fresh ingredients on offer. Got my coffee and over filled sandwich. Great service and food. Will be back. Thank you.

This was our second stay at Pokolbin Village.we thoroughly recommend this resort.Close to wineries and all things the Hunter Valley is known for.Added bonus is on site general store and good shops especially the smelly cheese shop.Couldn't fault the service ,yes we will be back for another break
