Nice historical building that combines a seafarers club, little cozy bar, museum, place where people play boardgames and a chapel/church. I would't go there on a regular basis but it's definitely worth to visit at least once.

Update 31/01/21:Seafarers just keeps getting better and better. We love the beer garden and courtyard areas. Today we went for lunch. They're serving delicious South Melbourne Market sausages between 12 and 4 on Sunday afternoons.Original review: Great place to drop in! They provide assistance and accommodation to international seafarers who dock at Melbourne's ports, but it is also open to the public. Plenty of interesting items of Melbourne's maritime history to see. They host lots of cultural events, art showings etc. There's a bar and pool table. Spaces to rent for events are available too.

Little gem in the busy city.Public welcomed, very interesting to visit as lots of history. Light lunch and drinks available. Can also ask staff to open the chapel for a sticky beak. A great service offered to the Merchant Seaman of the world.

A rich piece of Melbourne’s history, which, best of all, continues to operate. An excellent place for a drink in the outdoor area.
