Thanks to VA Garage for finally fixing my Golf R brakes.I had ATE discs and ceramic pads installed in Sydney and had issues with shuddering from the start. The company who installed them in Sydney “had never had an issue with them before” apparently.Then I had VW in Southport look at them. They refused to even touch them as they weren’t VW brakes and didn’t offer any assistance whatsoever.I spoke to VA Garage and over then phone in about 20 seconds, they we’re able to tell me what they thought was wrong with the brakes.So I booked in the get them fixed. Just like I was told, they were installed incorrectly in the first place and the rotors had warped due to this.The team at VA Garage cleaned everything up, got the rotors machined and the car back to me without a fuss.The car now brakes like a dream at any speed.These guys definitely know their stuff. Thanks for looking after my car with your professionalism, knowledge and no nonsense attitude.

I’ve been taking my Volkswagen Polo to VA Garage for around 2 years and couldn’t fault them. The young lady at the counter was very friendly and informative and the mechanics do an awesome and honest job while servicing my car. They’re not like other mechanics on the Gold Coast who’ll try to rip you off. This place is a more affordable alternative if you drive a VW, Audi or Skoda than taking it to a dealership.

Disappointing experience.I was recommended to take my SQ5 to VA Garage as it needed a suspected carbon intake clean. Being a VW group specialist, I thought it would give it a try.I discussed my vehicle issues with them and waited one month for my scheduled appointment. I am totally fine with the wait, as I believe a good operation/business is well worth waiting for - especially one that has VW/Audi expertise.I took in my car for the requested Intake clean, service, and whatever else the car needed. The car was with them for 2 and 1/2 business days. Again, this was not really a problem either.I called VA Garage at 11am on Friday morning to check on the status of my car. Initially on Wednesday I was told they needed to order parts, and that they would try to get the car out before the weekend. Again, no problem.On my call, I was notified that the parts had arrived, but would not get the car completed before the weekend. Again, this is not too bad. But when asked when I could expect it to be completed, I was told that they would have to assess with their workload day by day". Meaning: it'll be ready when it's ready
