After exploring services for Sri Lankan curry packs for few months, I found Food by Shykha through a referral and I have to say they are the best by far in Melbourne due to many reasons. Flavours are really authentic with the perfect blend of spices that even for someone who is new to Sri Lankan cuisine could really enjoy! My favourites so far have been the Atlantic Salmon curry, Lotus root curry and the Prawn curry as they are mouth watering! Portions are really generous and the whole ordering process and service is quite seamless and efficient!

We recently had the pleasure of having Food by Shykha cater a birthday function for us, and I must say, I was blown away by the quality of food and the attention to detail. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. It was obvious that Upekha and her team put a lot of thought and care into every dish. If you are after some seriously tasty catering, you can't go past Food by Shykha, will definitely book them again!

Not only is the food absolutely delicious, Upekha is such a pleasure to work with, you can tell she takes extra care with all her customers and she goes above and beyond along with help from her Dad, Shyam. This family run business is definitely worth every penny!

We've ordered from Food By Shykha on a couple of occasions, one for catering of a birthday party, and secondly for some home cooked meals. Both occasions were very different in nature, but safe to say, they nailed them both. Food was top notch, and the home cooked meals were hand delivered. We'll definitely be back, and can't recommend them highly enough!!

Authentic Sri Lankan cuisine made with love. It's comfort food at its best. Upekha is such a great cook and even a better friend! Her pork curry, butter chicken, beef mustard curry, biryani rice, tempered cabbage, tempered carrot and cauliflower, and shykha bites are my faves! She also made a fantastic Thai Chicken Curry. Good food and good vibes everytime!

So glad i stumbled across this small family owned business. I originally was looking for someone to make Pan Rolls and discovered they were so much more. They have become my Friday night take away. My favourites are the Pork Curry, Biryani Rice and the Butter Chicken is amazing. Oh and the Pan Rolls are delicious. Tried hoppers for the first time and they were a great substitute for rice. Please if you haven’t tried them yet, shut up and take my money. A little local gem

We were privileged enough to have Food by Shykha cater for our Sri Lankan Homecoming and it was by far the best catered food we have ever had! Not only was the food fantastic, the service was amazing and with a smile. It was evident how much hard work had gone into our event with Food by Shykha working closely with my mum to ensure that it was a magnificent day from the beautiful decorations to the menu. The food and desserts were absolutely delicious! Food by Shykha was able to cater to the various palettes which made things easier as everyone was super happy. Thank you again for a yummy feast!!! :-)
