Vastly overcharged (IMHO) for a clock repair, and when I complain about it still not keeping good time I get told to go away and worry about something meaningful, and adjust it myself.Quote-You are an angry man.Are you at a point in your life where nobody is interested in what you say or do?You threw your credit card at my wife and had I been present there would be a reason for your anger because you would be lying on the floor wondering what had hit you.We stand by our repairs.The clock has a fine adjustment externally.Given that you are self- proclaimed expert according your previous spiteful messages and have read everything on the subject I assumed you would know that.Go away until you have something meaningful to complain about.""

Sam elderly female continues to work there despite her detrimental effect on their business. However technicians arent much better with customer service and will happily be as difficult as Sam. I think their insular existence hasnt helped them over the years

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS.I have never been compelled to write a review until my experience with this mob. I have never dealt with such a nasty and vindictive individual in any business.I left my HQ Monaro gauge to be repaired at this family run business. Initially I dealt with Sam the family matriarch. Over the phone Sam adopted a strategy of brushing me off then she avoided answering the phone, didn't respond to voice mails and subsequently made me feel like I was an inconvenience for enquiring about the status of the repair.After 7 weeks of this back and forth nonsense I finally managed to speak to Sam and politely asked her to return the non-repaired gauge to me. I expressed to Sam that I was facing financial hardship and needed to sell the car – therefore the gauge was required to re-install the instrumentation on the car. However, nothing was actioned by Sam. Finally, I emailed the service department and asked for the gauge to be returned.My email was responded to by Roger, the SON OF SAM and an ADULT MAN CHILD who agreed I could come and pick up the gauge. After the email Roger proceeded to taunt me in multiple emails about my financial hardship and my need to sell the car.I found it disgraceful that Roger would see fit to taunt and ridicule me at a low point in my life simply because I asked for my gauge to be returned. Up until this point I had not once been rude or disrespectful to anyone in this business.ROGER, I TOLD YOU ON THE DAY I PICKED UP MY GAUGE THAT YOU HAVE ONLY EVER WORKED FOR MUMMY AND DADDY IN YOUR FAMILY BUBBLE. IN THE REAL WORLD IF YOU TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THAT THEY WILL SLAP YOU DOWN – LIKE I DID WHEN I SAW YOU.For the record 'thank goodness' I am not experiencing any financial hardship and the HQ Monaro is not for sale. It now has a perfectly working gauge (thanks to Marine Auto Instruments in Cheltenham) and is safely parked in my basement next to my other classic cars and motorbikes.ROGER THAT!

I've been in the auto business for over 50 years never met a more unprofessional business not to add rude customer service. Stuffed me around for weeks for a minor repair picked the item up went to Ringwood speedo repairs back the same day. Never again beware !!!

Called up to get a certificate for my Speedo. Lady I spoke to refused to book it in for me and was very rude about it. Do not waste your time here

I took a Torana cluster there for repair. They broke the pointer needle and lost numerous parts of the cluster that they claimed were already missing (which they were not). I took it back for them to fix properly. They made it worse by making the gauges too inaccurate to use. In short they destroyed my instrument cluster and took my money.

Bunch of rip off's, ring up for a quote then send it in and charge heaps more than quote a phone call would of been nice, but no too bad they said. Keep away 50 years of scams more like it. Also rang numerous times and they don't return my call,

Very bad customer service!!!Don’t get this mob to repair your instrument cluster.I Sent in my cluster for repairs as fuel and temp gauges were not functioning. They delivered it back once they repaired it and it was completely dead when I installed it back to my vehicle! I called them to advise the issue as this cluster is worse than what it was when I first sent it in. Nothing worked on it at all. I copped nothing but verbal abuse from Roger and he carried on saying he is good at what he does, the best in the industry. Certainly not!I sent it back to them again at my cost as they didn’t offer courier compensation. After 3 weeks it was returned and surprisingly enough it worked well.After 7 months the whole dash cluster died again. Called back to advise them that my cluster stopped working again and is completely dead again. They advised me no more warranty left. Send it back in for repairs again.I gave up.I put it in the bin, purchased a second hand unit from the wreckers and never had an issue since.Don’t trust this company with your clusters. They are amateurs and provide poor workmanship on their repairs. They should be ashamed of themselves!Not happy!

I would give it (minus)five stars if available.This place has gone down hill in the last several years.Once an industry leader in Melbourne, now a sad stain on the automotive industry. Just check out their reviews.Don't believe me?Call & talk with Sam..Sam has to be one of the worst, rudest & most disrespectful people I have had to deal with in the last 15 years of the automotive industry.Dealing with Sam, she made me feel as I was an issue…I was the fault, her job was difficult…People “like me” make it hard for small businesses like hers to operate.NO SAM, you are the reason…Trying to pay via credit card for a repair was the hardest of tasks for Sam!It’s 2021, how does a business not take credit card payments?I will be taking my business elsewhere to another small business that can take a credit card payment.
