Great spot for some of those hard to get major labels such as Rowan and yarn for Shetland colourwork, as well as some local independent dyers. That's if you're a knitter. I can't comment on the quilting side of things but they do stock Liberty lawns. They lack any wood or bamboo tips for circular needles but they have stainless steel which I can't use as they're too slippy.

Thankyou to Josie and all the lovely staff (especially Elissa) for all the wonderful care you put into the JEN KINGWELL WORKSHOPnothing was to much trouble, you made contact several times before the class to make sure we were all up to speed and had anything we needed or wanted. even making a single order for my late request of another pattern, and I don't think you even charged me postage??Your fabric selection is superb with a great range from world wide distributors. especially Liberty of London.lovely afternoon tea was supplied every day.Thankyou I really appreciate it and cannot recommend you enough.Maryanne

Fantastic little business for anyone wanting one of a kind yarn and fabric. The staff are lovely and super willing to help out in any way they can. The yarn is of a super high quality and in some beautiful colourways. They also have an extensive range of patterns and books to match the yarns they stock. They do run classes from beginner level up to advanced in both knitting and sewing and have samples of things people have made scattered around the shop for inspiration. They hand wind any yarn you buy upon request so it's easy to use. Have bought from them multiple times as it is one of my favourite craft shops.

Lovely little store but while I was there I saw a blonde staff member wipe her palm up the underside of her nose before handling fabric multiple times. After a while she changed to rubbing the underside of her nose with the backs of her fingers, still while working with fabric.What was just gross pre-pandemic can be dangerous now. Be careful if shopping here.

Went to purchase fabric on a Saturday afternoon recently and was disappointed with the offhand manner of staff. The range of fabric was lovely however.

Lovely store. They didn't have what I was looking for, but still plenty of choices for yarn and knitting needles. I didn't stop to look at the colourful fabrics, though.
