Wellington Dental Surgery, Dr Alan Kwong

dr. alan kwong was able to see me immediately due to a very painful wisdom tooth. he was very professional, to the point and very reasonably priced. he has wonderful staff to assist him and they are very accommodating and reassuring.

Yesterday the 10th of March 2023 I was suffering from a extremely severe toothache accompanied by a very painful headache I phoned Doctor Kwongs rooms and was greeted by the nicest reception who was sooo good and was able to fit me into a busy scheduleOn arrival I was ushered into the surgery an into the chair within 5 minutes the tooth was removed and the pain of tooth and headache was goneWords alone are insufficient to describe the thanks I feel towards the Doctor and his staffI am 79 years old and been to many Doctors but Doctor Kwong is the best do yourself a favour and talk to him or his staffThank you very much

Dr is a very friendly and considerate dentist, made me feel he has love in heart, professional and very efficient, he definitely knows what he is doing.

Very impressed with Dr Alan Kwong.He saw me with minimal notice as an urgent case.I needed a quick filling and with only 4 hours notice, was able to see me on a Saturday.Very skilled with applying the anaesthetic and hardly felt a thing. Very reasonable rates. Very happy to continue going here.Thank you!!!

Dr Alan Kwong and his staff are brilliant I went in to have a tooth removed and had four porcelain teeth with a bridge made along my 3 visits Alan was so informative in the process from day one.He was always seeing if I was alright. I can say if anyone out there is nervous with dentist rest ashore you will be in great hands with dr Alan Kwong.Thank you and your team I can smile great results with the result

I have been going Alan for over 20 years now, he is amazing. Customer care from Alan and Delphine is second to none. My children and husband now all see Alan, we won't go anywhere else. Alan's gentle nature with children is amazing he has an ability to calm children down and make them feel comfortable in very unsettling situations. My eldest son 12 years old has had 8 teeth removed in the past 12 months. Alan and Delphine's care had made him comfortable enough to have these done 4 teeth at a time in the chair. Thank you Alan and Delphine keep up the amazing work! :)

I had my tooth removed there 2 years ago. Alan did a great job and chipped away slowly, not removing it all in one go. But the reason for 1 star is 1. He actually yelled at me when I made any noise. I was in pain because of the ridiculous amount of pressure he was putting on my teeth. I was not screaming, just letting out a little noise here and there that even the receptionist wouldn’t have heard. He told me if I need him to stop, I should raise my hand. When I did, he didn’t stop.2. I thought the procedure was still going when he started using different utensils… but he actually started cleaning my teeth which he did not ask me if I wanted. He then charged me over $100 for a treatment that I did not consent to.3. I took my elderly father to Alan once, he laughed at him and told him he has very bad oral hygiene, instead of being respectful and giving him tips to improve his oral hygiene, My dad was noticeably embarrassed and this “professional” continues to clean my dads teeth and lecture him in the rudest way - laughing at him, telling him that he won’t do anything for him unless his hygiene changes.In short, Alan is rude and unprofessional. He may know what he’s doing with teeth but does not know how to behave professionally.The reason I decided to leave this comment after so long is because I was in the process of booking a dentist appt with another clinic and remembered how furious I was with Alan.
