We took our little girl today and sadly didn't bring her home. Yvette was just amazing , caring and did everything she could to save our little one. Thank you so much Yvette. The staff were wonderful to.

Unfortunately our review won’t be great but it will be honest. Our staffy was booked in as she started having seizures. We were told that blood tests couldn’t be taken on a Saturday as they wouldn’t be collected until Monday. So after having a urine sample checked, temperature taken and heart listened to, was requested to come back to get bloods taken. The next week we brought her back only to have her bloods taken and checked onsite. Staff perplexed as we were for why that wasn’t done on the Saturday. She had another seizure in front of vet so seizure tablets were prescribed. As her health declined even further that week we took her for a second opinion to another vet only to find out within 5 minutes that she has a heart murmur and her heart is failing. Glad we chose to get a second opinion so now we know what little valuable time we have left.

Yvette and all the staff at Castlemaine Vet have been so caring and provided the highest care for my cat that had to be put down. Through her stay, they updated me every day (including a Sunday) and were so welcoming with me coming to visit. They did everything they could to help her recover and make her comfortable and loved in her final days. Every staff member was gentle and kind in a time where you feel your whole world is crashing down. The care in this vet is phenomenal and I thank all the staff for everything they did. You made the biggest difference to such a terrible time. I 110% recommend this clinic.

The entire team at CVC are incredible. We have taken our dog, Eli, for routine matters in the past, but recently had to take him following a major trauma. Dr Yvette and Dr Ann are outstanding vets, that show genuine affection and care for every animal they meet. Every team member - from the moment we open the door to walk in - has shown such care for Eli, but also for us. We are full of appreciation to Yvette, Athena, Ann, Isla, Lisa, Marisa and every other member of the team that just jumped straight in to assist Eli when he was in need.

Always very professional and nice to deal with. The only vets not scared of my American bulldog without sedation.

Just love these guys. Yvette is so caring and easy to communicate with. We drive an hour each way because we know our boy is in good hands at Castlemaine Vet Clinic.

Great with my dogs. A lot of care taken and patient too. Explain everything very well.
