It's OK. Somewhat you're paying for the location. The menu could do with a bit of a rev up periodically. They definitely put the service effort in & try hard to look after you. With such a range of clientele it would be a challenge so well done to them for doing it pretty well. More craft beers on tap required in my opinion.

Great place with a good atmosphere. Has a big screen for all you sporting needs and a good selection of craft beer and different wine. A good menu and recommend all steaks from the grill.

Soft prawn tacos for $16 - see picture. I ask, is $8 a prawn a fair shake of the sauce bottle?Extra star off for putting both prawns in the same taco.

Love this place, the menu had gotten a bit stale during renovations but they are back to good form with a tweaked menu. Attended for ANZAC day and we go to dinner and trivia here on Tuesday’s -always a lot of fun. The wings from here are simply divine. I think it is the hot sauce I am addicted too. There aren’t many privately owned pubs left but it really makes a difference, that’s why the SBH is my go to pub. The atmosphere is always amazing! They are friendly and welcoming and the staff are always exceptional and happy! The bugler was up on the bar and did a great job. The two up was popular and the beer was flowing. Good times.

I am almost always disappointed when I order steak, but for the first time that I can remember, I actually got a GOOD STEAK HERE! Usually you pay way too much for something that's sinewy or over cooked (even though I ask for rare or medium rare), but the bachelor streak I had here was actually great.The side salad was disappointing as there was only about 1 slice of watermelon radish in it. I'm sure lots of people wouldn't care about that, but I enjoy a salad with my steak.The dessert was delicious too.

I went here during Australia Day and there was a whole party going on, with the main attraction being the cockroach races!! They are cool and fun, the entry didn’t have a set price but you have to donate to get it. To buy a ticket to bet on a roach you’ll need to pay $10 and hope your roach wins so you can get some of the prizes. Overall great experience and I hope I’ll be back next year.
