Hot Sauce Burlesque

I’ve been a part of hot sauce for 4 terms now. I can’t get enough. This dance school is so accepting, no matter your age, sex, shape. Every one is welcome.I came out of my first show case with a much more positive body image and enormous confidence. All the students are so supportive of each other. I feel so welcome and like I’ve become part of the hot sauce family.Thank you Lyra, Velvet, Letitia and all the other teachers and students for making hot sauce such an awesome community. I’m so proud I can be a part of it xxx

I started out as a Photographer for Hot Sauce Burlesque , then i decided to try my hand at classes. Lyra is just the most amazing teacher. She has created such a wonderful loving and most importantly a Supportive environment for all. Am autistic so i was very anxious but all that melted away . These classes have helped me so much in embracing who i really amHighly recommend to ALL

One of the best places for learning classes, with the additional benefit of being able to book a performance or class for a party. Lyra is a fantastic teacher and is so inclusive, I always leave my class feeling so confident and it really has helped my self confidence. Highly recommend if you are looking to get started or continue with your burly!!!

I have been attending classes at Hot Sauce for 2 years now. Each and every one has been so much fun and the experience of performing in the showcases leaves me on a high for weeks! I have gained a lot of confidence in dancing (of which I had no other experience when I started) and in my body. I relish the chance to act and feel fabulous, sexy and silly in these classes and on stage. The community really is exceptionally warm and accepting of all people and everyone supports each other like a second family. It's a great place to have fun dancing, make new friends and build your self confidence.

Hot Sauce Burlesque School is the best! Such a welcoming environment and an amazing community. Hot Sauce is so inclusive and so mindful of all abilities. All the teachers are incredible performers, they're all great teachers and so helpful and friendly. The showcases are so professional and amazing to be a part of as well as to watch

I have been at hot sauce for almost two terms now. Have found it a wonderful and welcoming environment.I personally before starting with hot sauce my body confidence was at all time low. What I have gained from hot sauce and my dance teacher Lyra La Belle, she has me dancing on stage in the showcase feeling great, my body confidence is returning and I feel amazing by surrounding myself with a really positive nurturing environment and community.

The community Lyra LaBelle has built at Hot Sauce is extraordinary. Seeing the way she transforms lives and builds confidence in people through the practice of burlesque is awe inspiring. And if you want a fun night out be sure to check out one of her epic Fringe Shows. We absolutely LOVED IT!

Booked Lyra La Belle to host our event for Fringe on the 10th of January. We got in early to make sure we would not be looking for hosts and acts days before our event. Lyra had her PA call us to tell us the Tuesday before the Saturday hosting event that she double booked and would not be able to do our venue. Booked in January and event is in March. I was shocked considering having a PA and a calendar this should not happen. Anyways, we have already marketed that Lyra will be at our venue and hosting.If you're looking for a host or an act, be aware that they might cancel the week of your event. Also, I would expect more from a school that teaches people how to perform and things you should and shouldn't do as an entertainer.

Love love love getting my weekly hot sauce fix. Lyra and all of the teachers are fantastic at what they do and everyone (teachers and students) are so supportive and welcoming. An inclusive environment for all and the ability to learn actual techniques rather than just routines; although the routines are so much fun. Opportunities to grow as a solo performer. Great for fitness and confidence building! Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Hot Sauce Burlesque school is a fabulous institution and community. Lyra Labelle is an inspiration and an uplifting teacher, mentor, and friend to all! Amazing classes for beginners and those experienced, and an inclusive environment for students from all walks of life.
