I really enjoyed my workshop with you, Jeanette. You have such a calm, reassuring way of teaching, that I felt so much more confident to try new skills. Your way of teaching was clear and supportive. You explained what the techniques involved, demonstrated them and then supported me to practise. I’m thrilled with the pieces I made and I learnt so much. Press forming is exciting and I’ve already started working with it at home. Gypsy setting is such fine work - challenging and after your instruction, I’m ready to keep at it. Thank you so much.

I attended the Beginners Jewellery Class at Jeanette's studio. Besides the breathtaking setting, Jeanettes studio is the most beautiful working space I can imagine. She introduced us to the world of Jewellery making with great patience and a very great ability to explain. After finishing the classes, I was very excited about the things we created. I decided to learn more about the fine art of Jewellery making. I ended up doing several private classes with Jeanette…..I couldn’t get enough of it. She truly is a gifted teacher and eager to transfer all the valuable knowledge to her students. I’m so happy about all the pieces I made during the classes and the skills I could acquire. Thank you Jeanette! I hope I can come back to Australia one day and do classes with you again.

I recently completed the beginners pendant and earring making class which I thoroughly enjoyed. Jeanette is an amazing teacher, so patient, extremely skillful, encouraging and nothing was too much trouble. Jeanette taught me so much, it was great to have an absolute professional share their skills/techniques. l cannot wait to design and make more pieces putting my newly learnt skills into practice. Jeanette’s classes/workshops are amazing! More than what I expected.Whether you are someone who just wants to make a one off piece of jewellery, or would like to pursue further – These classes are perfect. Jeanette is wonderful teacher whom is extremely informative and patient. Her knowledge is extensive, and you come away with a lot more knowledge about different techniques than what is written in her class outline. Added bonus is being able to learn while on the beautiful Montsalvat grounds. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to learn from Jeanette and I seriously can’t rave highly enough about her classes/workshops.

I had the privilege of meeting Jeanette and was so impressed with her work that l commissioned her to make my signature ring 28 diamonds and exquisited detail. Loved it so much l commissioned her again to make my beautiful earings, absolutely stunning. I feel like a million dollars. The experience of designing the jewelry was such an extraordinary experience loved being at her studio. I appreciate unique jewelry that matches my mystery. I have 3 pieces now and l will continue to create more. If you adore being an individual this is the place to go.

It wonderful. I had 5 days of private classes with Jeanette as I live out of state. It was so very well worth the time and money to travel to Eltham Vic. Jeanette was a wonderful, helpful and patient teacher (as I was a complete beginner). Every minute of my time was filled Jeanette's teachings - no time was wasted and I came away with a head full of knowledge. Gorgeous studio set on beautiful grounds only added to the experience. Absolutely wonderful, I loved every minute, it was completely worthwhile and I would recommend it to anyone.

Jeanette was extremely helpful and knowledgable in my private lesson with her. She tailored the class to match and build on the skills that I already have, and provided me with many tips and tricks to get me started on my path to becoming a jeweller one day.She was also very helpful in suggesting suppliers and places to find the tools I need to get started at a decent price. I recently completed a complete beginners jewellery making class with Jeanette and thoroughly enjoyed it. So much so that I have now also enrolled in her silver pendant and earring course. Jeanette is incredibly patient and attentive to each student in her class. I was so impressed by the extensive amount of content we managed to cover in only 5 weeks. She is highly experienced and proficient in her craft and clearly enjoys sharing her knowledge with others. This meant that with her expertise I was able to create jewellery pieces to a standard which well exceeded my expectations. I have received many compliments when wearing my jewellery from family and friends. I would highly recommend her classes.

I completed Jeanette’s beginner silver course as private tuition over 2 days- I had thoroughly researched different courses before choosing Jeanette’s.Jeanette is so prepared and willing to teach and to share her knowledge. She is a patient & generous teacher who weathered loads of questions with pragmatism & grace. I came out of the 2 days feeling that 1; I could complete a simple piece on my own and 2; that I had gained so much information, top tips and burgeoning knowledge. I recently completed a private bezel setting class with Jeanette in her beautifully organised studio situated in the tranquil grounds of Montsalvat. I was warmly welcomed by Jeanette. My whole day was filled with her knowledge and I felt that my questions were answered in a way that I completely understood. I have confidence moving forward with my craft at home. Jeanette’s studio is well set up. Everything in its place and clean. Her work is truly unique and I can’t wait to continue with more classes to gain further knowledge of silversmithing. If you are lucky enough to sit in one of her classes you are being taught by one of the best.
