about 18 months ago, a friend of mine introduced me to one of Flinders IS brokers called Andrew, he reviewed our existing documents and saw we had recently signed on a new policy in the previous few months, we got chatting and he said there should be room to wiggle, but we should discuss closer to time of renewal, fast forward almost 9 months later, Andrew got back in touch and did a formal review of our policies, whilst he was doing this, we received our renewal documents from our existing broker, Andrew went above and beyond in regards to his customer service, outlining what was and wasn't included beyond the usual speil, sent me a few quotes and compared our renewal quotes, our existing broker just went through the renewal where we saw a 25% increase, from an overseas insurance company, Andrew found a local insurance company, and for cheaper than our existing (non renewed) rates, with for more inclusivity to protect my business. Andrew was honestly, one of the best people i've come across, and given I can be quite time poor and slow to respond on issues, he was always at hand when I needed something, and never held a grudge when I didn't get back to him in a timely manner, and has only acted in our best interest from beginning to end, and there was no obligation from the outset for us to commit. I cannot commend this gentleman enough, and Flinders IS should be so chuffed to have such a professional and driven employee.
