Terrible customer service, inflated order wait times, and horrible returns/warranty assistance.We placed an order with this store mid 2020 per an employees instruction that the item was in stock, only for the item to not only be available, but we had to wait 5+ months for a new order to be processed. One received, we opened the packaging to find the item broken and missing parts.After a long and frustrating debate with the store, they agreed to a refund and to replace the faulty item, advising us of another min 2+ months of wait time. After waiting once again (an additional 4+ months), we followed up after no contact, only to be advised that they don't have any 'notes' in their system of the agreed replacement item! They told us there was nothing they could do and refused to assist any further.Do not waste your time, shop online/elsewhere.

A+ for service. Chris and his team were able to assist me with a great deal on a wood heater and arrange delivery to my home. Thankyou very much for all your help.

Good range of bbq s here and have a sale on at the moment

I have just recently bought a Ziegler 3 burner bbq and now waiting for delivery Brent was fantastic in taking the time to explain everything and advising us on the model suitable for our needs .Looking forward to many hours of barbecuing.

We ordered an outdoor kitchen and it took 8 months to deliver and yes we have all heard about covid. This is just ridiculous being an importer of products from China myself it wasn't covid!!To rub salt in the wound due to the delay we were promised a voucher to help compensate for the late delivery................it didn't happen. Don't make an offer if you don't follow through.Staff in the shop were very embarrassed about the delays and helped a lot, not their fault for the very poor performance

Happy with Sam and her service. However when I went to the loading dock to pick up my bbq Adam came out to see if the item would fit in my car. He was very careless when taking the box out as it didn’t fit he dragged the box out and scratched my bumper. I told him that he scratched the bumper but he ignored me and continued on his way. No apology or anything, if I had not already purchased the item I definitely wouldn’t have. Will never shop there again.

We had a fireplace installed in 2017 by one of Barbe ques Galore contractors. The contractor did not like where we wanted to place our heater and chose to put in a different spot, no big deal at the time.Move forward to 5 months ago when needing the chimney cleaned. The contractor no longer works for Barbe ques Galore so we had to engage another company. This company advised our fireplace could not be certified as the installer had cut structural beams in our roof, see attached photo. He had not secured flu along with other issues. Restoration costing over $6000.00.Contact was made with the store who basically washed their hands of the situation but, did advise the would get me the installers insurance details. We did not organize the installer or have contact with him until the day of installation.Multiple attempts have been made to contact Barbe ques Galore head office only to be fobbed off by call centre staff. Finally two weeks ago I was put through to the Call centre manager after 121 minutes on hold. He advised that he was aware of the situation and would contact me back, I rang last week leaving a message with a guarantee he would call me back, didn't happen. I again called today and got the same response from the call centre.WARNING TO ALL BEFORE PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM BARBE QUES GALORE THAT NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED. CHECK THAT THE INSTALLER HAS AN ABN IS LICENSED FOR THE WORK TO BE DONE AND HAS CURRENT INSURANCE. You will get little help from the company as it would seem they DO NOT hold these details and if anything goes wrong they will fob you off.Two days after this review Barbeques Galore rang ensuring they would look into this and get back to me, three weeks later and nothing. Yet again I rang their contact centre only to be advised the person dealing with this issue is not at work today, an all to common answer when you ring but, they will call you tomorrow. Well tomorrow came and no phone call.
