St Leonards Hotel
The first time I have stayed here. The staff member who checked me in was helpful beyond the call of duty, carrying my heavy bag (on his own initiative) up the stairs to my room. Excellent views from my room over the pier, the bay and the beer garden. Ambience of the beer garden and other areas is excellent. Menu is a bit limited at present but this is probably for reasons beyond the pub's control, such as supply chain issues.

Just stopped in for a late lunch... after 2pm. Kitchen was still operating fortunately. The staff were quite friendly and the food was tasty enough with good sizing. Only giving 3 stars as it's like most Hotels. I'd go again though.

8/2/23 On arrival it looks outdated and tired from the outside. But inside it is fantastic! It is modern, warm and very facilitating! We only stopped by for a few drinks but it was very nice. We looked at the food menu and it looked very reasonable however we didn’t eat there.We wouldn’t mind possibly having a meal here in the beer garden despite the negative reviews!

Great classic pub fare.We had the chicken parma and steak sandwich. Both were cooked perfectly and ratios/ servings were well balanced and generous.Would definitely come back, great view!
