I wanted to introduce my 18 month old to the idea of the dentist. The receptionist recommended Dr Karsten.He was lovely with Patrick, blew up a balloon on the mouth blower pipe thing, tied it off with floss. Looked at kid's teeth quickly then encouraged him sit on my lap a while for my exam to hear the sucker etc. Hubby took kid to to park across the road while I finished up.I appreciate a dentist who looks at my mouth and laughs we won't get much repeat business out of you".Only recommendation is a couple of toys in the waiting room which could be hidden away (although it's very bland

I was a return patient with a booking for a scale and clean. The practice owner Dr Sam Zein proceeded to do what I think was an examination although he didn’t explain what was happening. Throughout the initial check he was demeaning, dismissive and unnecessarily forceful.I was gagging on the x-ray plate because I have a small mouth — dentists have always used the children’s size plate and this would’ve been on my patient record. After aggressively trying to push the plate into my right cheek he said, “everyone else can do this?!” I said I was uncomfortable with how he was speaking to me and he said, “it’s your attitude that is the problem.” I’ve never encountered such a hostile dentist — I left immediately.Three years ago he was great however I would not recommend him now. Repulsive, disgusting behaviour with nothing but dollar signs in mind. His sole objective was finding more reasons to get me back in the chair.

The best dentist in town. I could not recommend them highly enough. I am not a lover of Dentist's and never will be, but Sam makes the experience bearable…thankfully!

Great service! Dr Sam Zein and the team are very friendly, professional, and informative. Dr Sam always try to save teeth instead of just ripping them out. He is very gentle and always asks if you’re okay before moving on which. The costs are also reasonable for the quality of service that they provide. My family has been using Cambridge City Dental for over seven years. I highly recommend this clinic.
