Came back for dinner as lunchtime was chaos.The T-bone steak was phenomenal. Real sized, fresh, cooked expertly with a great char to rival steakhouses in the city. Ridiculously tender as well. An absolute gemBig thank you and recognition for the young blonde girl serving tables since lunch time. She is an absolute machine and champion!

What a find! On a recent trip to Gippsland we overnighted in Walhalla and ate at the best restaurant in town. The Wally Pub. This small but busy little pub can boast the best Schnitzels in Gippsland. Big call I know but with 16 different Schnities on the menu there is one for everyone. Annie & Christie are amazing, offer great pub food and hospitality. Great work girls.

The most welcoming pub. The staff was just so nice and told us a bit of the history of the pub. My son obsessed about the deer head on the wall and made so many questions. The food was very nice.

We asked the lady behind that bar what's good for dinner. She recommended the chicken schnitzel and that's what we ordered. So now, we're recommending the schnitzel too... it's great!

Went for dinner Sunday 6th November 2022. If you want great Aussie classic meals and generous portions, this is it! The pub is original, simple and rustic. I had lamb shanks in rosemary gravy with mashed potato, carrots, broccoli and corn. Hubby had chicken parmigiana with chips and salad. Meals were at the table in 15 minutes and the meals are very generous in size. My lamb shank fell off the bone and the gravy was delicious. Not a huge range of alcoholic drinks, but enough to cover most tastes. The lady who serves at the bar was super friendly and seemed to be managing front of house on her own. The lady cooking the meals was also friendly. It has a very laid back vibe. I thoroughly recommend this place for hungry travellers.

A very busy little pub, we went on a Saturday during school holidays. The food was excellent and large servings.Staff were very friendly. A great place to stop for a meal or just a drink with friends.
