Spit Roast on Sutherland

Amazing chicken burgers and yummy sides! This is my fav Spitroast in the whole shire. Its consistency good. I get the chicken burger and today I got the veggie mornay as the side and it was seriously delicious. I highly reccommend this Spitroast!

They have good food - but just be very careful if you have any food allergies. Multiple occasions the staff have been unable to answer what is in their food (in my case gluten) and most recently the staff member looked at me in confusion as he didn’t know what gluten was. Just a warning to others who may be in a similar situationEdit (in response to the owner:Hello,When I asked your staff is there gluten in any, the male staff member looked at me confused and then the female spoke up and told me everything is gluten free. I looked and her and I said that can’t be possible because there’s pasta in multiple and one of them also has croutons. I believe that is when you stepped in and started to tell me a few were gluten free, however at this point I didn’t trust it as it seemed that all staff were unaware of what gluten was so I decided to not get anything to be safe.Additionally - Last week I was there and a lady had asked if your burgers had any dairy in them - your staff member looked at her confused and just started telling her what veges ect were in it, and did not answer her question. I could see she was visibly frustrated at the answer.It just seems to me most staff are unaware of what is in the food, and it seems some staff don’t even know what gluten is. As someone who is coeliac, it is really disappointing going somewhere where staff aren’t educated on food allergies as it is impossible to make a decision for my health. Possibly something to have a chat to them about going forward.

Unique home made recepies and spices made the food especial. Taste is Great and mouth watering with affordable price.Good customer service with High standard professional attitude. Delivery was very quick as well. I highly recommend this shop.

Lamb shank as presented, undercooked and off. One mouthful made me sick for hoursRE: mate look at the picture...that's how it looked when I got it. It was like you grabbed someone's leftovers and chucked it in a box. It tasted a week old. How are you trying to defend it? And you're bragging that only 1/30 (or 40??) meals makes someone sick? You should be shut down

Revised review.Ordered delivery. Meals were cold, not even Luke-warm.The burger mince was revolving, like cheap sausage mince. There was two small toms and beets on the burger, brown lettuce and sprinkle of onion.The roast was thrown into one small container. No division of sides and meats. Barely any gravy.Lamb was fatty and chewy.Absolutely disappointing.Never again.

Amazing food and cooked really well they make the best broccoli and cauliflower bake very creamy.

Taste was good. But charged me $10 instead of $7 that shows on the menu

Ordered 2 meals, 1 was good the other plain hamburger came with a tiny piece of beetroot a 1/4 the size of the bun and no caramelized onion at all, or sauce. Very disappointed.

This is one of the worst chicken, burger and salad eatery that I have ever been too. The place here is filthy and food is horrible. The chips we ordered was soggy. The roast was so hard and difficult to chew. I have not eaten a roast that is cut in cubes instead of slices. After returning home our whole family felt so thirsty from the food we ate. Extremely poor quality. The lady that took our orders can't even understand simple English and gave us the wrong order. This will be my first and last time I am coming to this place.
