The place is a total rip off, noisy, not private and on top of that the owner is rude.

When we've arrived, a lady (that didn’t introduce herself) confronted us that no children were allowed. I had booked 20 or so other places for the road trip. It was an honest oversight while booking. We were told to wait for a phone call in the tent which we did. We've asked the owner to be put in our shoes: we've all had a long exhausting day, it was 7 pm pouring rain and the roads were closed from flooding. All we wanted is to finally get some rest in a private area. Instead the owner sounded like a robot telling us we can't stay as the toddler would go outside on the deck where no railing is installed. At that hour and weather conditions it was the last thing anyone could think of. We didn't expect that someone could be so cruel and didn't let us stay. The booking was for one night only and we'd be gone the next morning. Yet we were rudely forced to look for another accommodation. I was also trying to reason with the owner to get a refund and for a few days afterwards but she was avoiding any communication and then refusing to provide a refund. I contacted the website we booked it on and they've told me that they've been trying to contact the owner numerous of times requesting a free cancellation since it wasn't us who cancelled but the owner avoids any communication with them as well. It's very sleazy. I find it very cruel to kick the customers out in circumstances like that and very indecent to keep our money for no service provided. We didn't get any refund at all! As for the property, regardless of the children situation, it was not what I've expected at all. People are way too kind giving the property a high rating. It's not private, next to a main road, too complex to check in/ find the instructions, it doesn't give a sense of security or serenity at all, it's extremely overpriced, the list goes on... To summarise all that: abominable experience with the property and the owner and 400 dollars out. If you would ever be in question about a refund, be certain that in this property you won't be giving any…I don't recommend this property to anyone.

Heavenly! The hosts have thought of everything to ensure the perfect stay, we felt utterly spoilt with inclusion of complimentary wine etc. hot bath under the stars , kayak in morning. Peaceful bliss, very quiet and private - already planning our return!
