I have been coming here for several years without an issue. However on my last visit, I received less than satisfactory service. The SNS process was done incorrectly leaving my nails soft and tacky, rather than hard and shiny. Within 24 hours the SNS was chipped, and now less than a week later 3 nails are totally chipped and look a mess. Not only am I annoyed about the amount of money spent on the service, but the amount of time I spent there, which I am now going to have to repeat elsewhere.Really disappointing as I used to love coming here and have recommended it to many people.To add - I did contact the salon to see if we could come to an agreement about getting the job re-done, but there was no response.

Honestly the worst pedicure I have ever had. It all starts with a cold water foot soak. Then comes a very quick trim and a limp arm leg rub for about 5 seconds. The Polish is okay but nothing incredible. Service is absolutely horrendous. It’s cheap though so you get what you pay for. Sometimes when I come it’s cash only, and sometimes not. Very dodgy

I get pedicures done here. They have massage chairs, it's clean, and the pedicures are neat and last a long time.I have experienced some of the things mentioned in the bad reviews, but I'm happy with the results for the price. Best to go when they're not busy and you're not in a rush.Taking a star off, because I did tell a staff member that she was hurting my cuticles and she didn't stop. It wasn't too bad, but please stop when someone tells you it hurts!!

I hardly ever get pedicures but I went with my friend recently and it was sooo good! Hot stone massaged and scrubbed, finishing off with the most amazing blue colour on my toes. Definitely coming back for shiz!

I’ve tried almost all the nail places in crows nest and this is the only place that I’ve been happy with. With all the other places, the s&s chips off within a week or so and the bottoms lift so my hair gets caught in the nails. This is the only place where this hasn’t happened and they stayed on fully until I was ready to get them redone.Today I decided to go for my real nails and wasn’t sure if I should trust getting black as some of my nails are shorter, but as always, did an exceptional job!

I have used this salon a few times, but I only use it when the other salons in the area are booked out because I find the service generally quite rude. Recently I tried the new avocado colour range of shellac - the first time I tried it, the shellac chipped on each nail within the week. I returned a second time to try the same colour because I really enjoyed it for the day it lasted but the same thing happened, but this time there was a bubble in one of the nails and it just fell off the next day. I went to get one nail fixed and the lady working was rude and told me to come back in 45 mins when they clearly had time to fix one nail. It was really disappointing and not the longevity or response I hoped for in a $50 shellac and manicure application.

Look, staff are hilariously rude but if it’s a pedicure you want and not a new friend, then from my recent experience, it’s worth a visit — especially with Manhattan and P&M gone. I’d been warned, so wasn’t as stunned by the customer service as I otherwise might’ve been.

I have been to Albany Nails & Beauty a few times for a manicure and have been happy with their service. I had been advised that all instruments were autoclaved(sterilized). It was the main reason I went there for my manicures.They do have an autoclave on show and bring the instruments in a sterilizing pouch and open it in front of you.However, today, the lady who was doing my manicure, happened to leave the sterilizing pouch that my instruments were autoclaved" in next to me . When I flipped it over I noticed that the sterilization indicators had not changed colour as they should

NEVER AGAIN! Just paid $20 to be tortured removing my acrylic nails. I even asked the lady if there was another method to remove them, she didn’t care and just kept pulling them off instead of soaking them. Don’t ever bother going to this place.
