Shichida Early Learning Centre at Glen Waverley

Both of my kids have been attending Shichida since 6 mths of age. They love the classes and really look forward to the next class. All the teachers are friendly and engage the kids so they enjoy learning and completing their homework at home. I highly recommended Shichida for any family!

Both our kids love coming here! The teachers are all lovely and amazingly enthusiastic. Great way to expose them to a unique way of learning, which will hopefully give them a headstart in life :)

Had a very bad experience. My son has had a trail class prior to pandemic and have since been on waitlist for a year with no spot and deposit refunded. Have then called again to see if there’s flexible timing offered but was told he was too old to join the program - 4.5 years was the cut off but he has just missed the timeline for 2 weeks. Was told he is unable to join and the reason is it will be unfair for the other kids in class because they started 2 weeks earlier this term - so I asked had I called 2 weeks earlier they would have no excuse to not take him in and this is unfair and no opportunity for my son. They can’t comment on that but just a firm no. Admin response was the same and are not providing any empathy given the amount of lockdowns (at least 3 month) we have and unable to send kids to activities such as this one. Defeating the purpose of education by not providing fair chances for all kids, very disappointed and not considering the situation of pandemic disruption.

My daughter loves going to Schichida. The teachers are great educators. The program really keeps the kids engaged throughout the class. I recommend at least trialling it for a whole term and not just one class.

My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed going to class every week. We like Shichida's program and the teachers here are warm and excellent with students.

I can’t recommend this enough to family and friends! My twin boys have to much fun learning and growing with Shichida since 8months. I feel that Shichida really help their confidence in learning and attention span in class setting.

I believe Shichida has been very positive in my son's development. He has been exposed to activities and learnt new things, which has encouraged him to build his confidence, concentration, numeracy and literacy. The Glen Waverley Shichida is well run and less chaotic compared to other branches. Communication from administration staff is clear and the teachers are engaging and friendly.

We've been with Shichida for more than three years now. My boy is very active with very short attention spam, compared with other children at his age. We've been with so many supportive and caring teachers there. They created fun and confortable environment to inspire for children to learn. This term, we have teacher Glen at the Glen Waverley Campus. He not only pointed the challenges our boy has, but also kindly offered a couple of things he would try at class and what I could do at home. I feel I made a good choice to stick with Shichida for such a long time.
